Great quality and even better price
Extremely satisfied with this purchase. The shipping was fast and the knife is very sharp. The curved edge makes it so much easier to cut vegetables. Haven’t tried to cut meat yet but I’m sure it would be a breeze. Everybody needs a knife like this one in their kitchen.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Cleaver with a Backstory (and Balance to Match)
I can only assume this German high-carbon steel began life as the remnants of a pre–World War II submarine prototype, later recovered through some clever global recycling program and reborn by master Chinese builders into this formidable tool. The full-tang handle, balance, and density are impeccable—this cleaver feels less like a kitchen knife and more like a purpose-built instrument. It sits perfectly in the hand, inspires confidence on the cutting board, and looks absolutely striking while doing it. Fit and finish are outstanding, especially at a price point that feels almost unbelievable for what you’re getting. Serious performance, serious aesthetics, and zero gimmicks. Hats off to everyone involved in bringing this knife to life—including the Amazon delivery hero who had it waiting at my door by sundown. Highly recommended.

I found the right cleaver!
First, the packaging is impressive- the box has a magnetic lid and the cleaver is secured in a velvet enclosure. The cleaver itself is real steel with a good weight to it and a lightly oiled. It’s razor sharp so be careful! Feels good in the hand, cuts through chicken breast like it’s air. Also looks great on my magnetic knife rack that I built. Can’t wait to use this for my BBQ’s! I would expect a cleaver of this quality to cost a lot more. Very happy with this purchase.

Great Knife for bone
I read a lot of reviews and none of them really gave me the answers to decide if this was for me or not. I'll do my best to give you basically all the info you'll need. First, what kind of knife is this? Primarily it's for chopping pieces of meat that has a thick bone. Weight? To me, it's nearly perfect. The Cleaver has good amount of weight behind it, enough to break through the bone with ease, yet not super heavy where you're like I can't hold it Handle? Great balance and is very comfortable to hold Edge? It would take a lot from what I can tell to cause folds in the blade. It's also super sharp so you could totally breakup a pineapple or a hard vegetable like a squash. Uses? As I said this is really something you'll use to say chop or separate ribs, chicken wings from the drum and winglets. You can dice vegetables with this but I wouldn't say it would be an easy task because it's much heavier than a chef knife, but you can do it. You'll easily be able to to take a rib eye and make beef cubes If desired. When breaking the bones, you do need to use a chopping motion because pressing down on the blade unless tons of pressure to me won't get the job done. The good news it the chopping motion is very little hardly any effort. What can't it do? I would not try and break massive bones I don't think it's heavy enough unless you really smash hard. Cleaning: After use, use soap and water and then dry it really well. I'm talking bone dry; no put intended. Then take a paper towel or rag and put a little olive oil on each side and rub it on then put back in case. I can't say if will still rust as others have said since only had a day but if take care of it should be no issues. Overall if you're primary reason for getting this is to dice vegetable, chop meat and break through bone stay clear. If you're primarily purpose is to break through the bone and on occasion use for other tasks then it's for you. Oh, the reverse side I think, although I have not done so would be great for smashing open something like a coconut.

Great addition to have
What a beautiful knife. It's much heavier than expected yet works great. I especially love the leather sleeve that protects the blade.
