I have type 3 curly hair and my partner has type 4 curly hair. This moisturizes extremely well without weighing hair down your hair or leaving too much residue. It helps soften hair and decrease frizz as long as you style your hair well. It gives your hair great slip allowing for easy detangling with a wide tooth comb or tangle teaser. The smell is great, like all other products from this brand. You get a decent amount of product for the price and it preforms better than many expensive hair masks.

Finally, a conditioner that doesn't leave my hair feeling like straw! If you have low-porosity hair, you know how hard it is to find a deep conditioner without added proteins. This Mongongo Oil formula is incredibly hydrating and provides the perfect amount of slip for detangling. My curls felt soft, bouncy, and actually moisturized for days. Highly recommend for anyone avoiding protein!

I’ve been using this gem for a few years now. I found it when I started my natural hair journey a few years back after I had some bleach damage & was trying to restore my hairs health. It’s been in my shower ever since and I probably only buy it twice a year because a little goes a LONG way with this, you seriously don’t need much. I put some on my finger tip and run it through my mid to my ends lol, and I have long thicker hair. Whether I wear my hair natural or straight/styled, this stuff just works. It’s like water for my hair lol. I don’t know how else to describe it. My hair seems to love it and it goes on like butter. I instantly feel it melt into my hair and leave it so soft and smooth. I personally shampoo my hair first, then condition it with a different shampoo and conditioner that I’ve also used for years and has grown my hair and kept it healthy, and then once I wash out most of the conditioner, I use this Mielle conditioner as a leave in. Sometimes I’ll use it on top of my other conditioner and then rinse and put more in as a leave in. Just depends on how I’m feeling and how my hair is doing. When I travel I usually just use this conditioner to keep it simple. But it’s been in my routine for years now and I’ve recommended it to all my friends because it’s just so good. I’ve had my hair bleached again and also went back darker again in the past few years and my hair has stayed healthy through it all. My stylist always comments on how healthy my hair is. This stuff is truly a gem and the ingredients and natural ingredients in it just make it even better. My hair stays growing, healthy, soft and smooth. Even when I wear it natural. I’ve tried a ton of other natural products, products way more expensive & none of them do what this does. Just THANK YOU for making this product, both the shampoo and conditioner. I have suffered for years with FL hard water. So far, I have used it once and the results are incredible. As far as delivery and packaging - no issues, no leakage. Smells pleasant but not overpowering (and I'm really sensitive to scents). The conditioner specifically - I have a lot of fine hair so I only used less than a dime-size amount of conditioner. It's like butter for your hair and it's so gratifying to feel how smooth your hair feels when it's rinsing out. Unlike other conditioners, after you rinse it out, your hair stays smooth. When I run a brush through, less hair comes out because there isn't that "automatic tangle factor" you get with hard water. My hair is soft, light, fluffy and full. Day three after one wash, my hair is not oily, flat, brittle, or heavy. I have already recommended this shampoo and conditioner to my neighbors. The price point is perfect and reasonable. I enjoy washing my hair again, and you should, too.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Perfect for my fine, low porosity, 2b/2c curls. I've been using this for a few years now. It smells great, leaves my hair soft and not weighed down from heavy proteins.

i really love this, it has a thin and milky consistency and i personally don’t have to use a lot each time. i wanted a hair mask without protein so i could use it every wash, and this is perfect for hydrating and softening my hair.

Ya es la segunda que compro de esta marca, es muy hidratante , pero no proteínas, para cabellos bastante secos y castigados, yo la dejo de media a una hora tapada con un gorrino para que obtenga calor y penetre bien en la hebra capilar, muy recomendable para cabellos porosos y sin brillo.

This is my go to conditioner for my curly hair. It is often tangled by the time I get to showering and I need something that will allow me to brush it out without ripping my hair out. This conditioner make brushing my curly hair, very simple and leaves it feeling very moisturized and when I come out of the shower. I noticed the difference when I don’t use it, so I have re-purchased a few times already
