There are four of the most used split shot sizes in this set. There are not a huge number in each compartment but there are plenty that will see you through a couple of seasons, more if you are better than me at putting them back in the dispenser rather than leaving them loos in my float box! The weights seem OK for each size with my loaded floats that expect 4 BB sitting nicely with 4 of these BB shot. Using 8 of the number 4 shot also settles the float right so it looks like those are ok too. No I did not replace all the BB with number 6 shot, life, and the depth of water I was fishing in, is just too short! The lid closes tightly, I do hope however that, by the time winter rolls around, it has loosened up a bit; cold fingers could, possibly, result in dropped dispenser, probably losing all of 1 size down the bank.
