Nutrients are added to the agar as appropriate for the specific type of microorganisms being cultured. Horrible smell, horrible taste, just horrible!
This is the nastiest tasting thing that I've ever tasted, I was planning on throwing a jello party and wanted to include my vegan friends so I tried this.Horrible taste, horrible smell. This can't be edible. Only purchase if your intention is to use for a science project. This is definitely not FDA-Food grade quality substitution for gelatin. Worse thing is that they do not provide refunds! You have officially been warned!!
