Very nice Bluetooth clock radio!
I had purchased a Blackweb Bluetooth clock radio from Wal-Mart and it was terrible - the lowest volume was blasting in my office. The display was hard to see and it took up more room than this great little item. The iHome is attractive, has very decent sound quality for the price range, is easy to set up and streams like a dream! I absolutely love it!

Great value for price and nice features
Bought this after using iHome radio in a hotel (Jan) and comparing various models and prices. This was one of the cheapest--and I think older model. I liked the included USB jack--saves a long wire and another plug-in at outlet. Have been *very* pleased -- good sound, especially for such a small size, great reception on channels (comparable to better receiver in another room), nice relatively-simple controls, and great variable dimibility of screen. Slight downside--like all of these little radios, making some settings requires a (sometimes non-intuitive) sequence of button pushing. But this one is better than most. Great value at low price it was selling for. A downer: "included" batteries were sol old, they'd started corroding but in a separate box so no damage. Amazon seems to provide no simple way to request replacement parts or batteries. Boo!

Too bright, but a good clock radio
It’s a good little alarm clock. It’s replacing my larger iHome that stopped telling the proper time, the alarms would go off, and the screen would freeze up constantly. I love the size of this though, it’s small and doesn’t take up as much room as the other one. My only complaint is the dimmer. It has 3 seettins: 1- Bright 2- Low 3- Off. I like my clock to be visible during the week in case my alarm fails to go off, then not visible during the weekends so I can sleep in and not worry about the time! The low setting is so bright that it lights up the whole bedroom and blinds you if you happen to look at it in the dark. I wish the screen was a little different so that maybe the lowest setting wasn’t so bright. For example, my old iHome had the actual clock numbers and letters dim. On this one, the display screen is what brighten and dims, not the numbers. It’s just too bright for me. I need an alarm clock right now, so this will just have to work.

Don't buy a bedside sound machine until you read this.
I've had bedside sound machines for more than 20 years. When it came time to replace one, I thought I'd just get another one - something similar. Long story short - I tried and returned two bedside sound machines, and ended up with this device instead -- which is NOT a sound machine. Reason - the sound apps available on your smart phone are a whole lot better than anything else; I highly recommend White Noise by TMSOFT. Use the bluetooth connection on this device to get great sound, plug in your smart phone with the USB cable (if you want), and you get all the features of the app (sounds, alarms, clock, etc), and all the features of this iHome device.

Too bright and doesn't provide weekend settings
This is a decent and good looking alarm clock but missing quite a few simple features that make it annoying. The brightness setting is too bright at it's lowest point and I'm forced to turn off the backlight completely. There is no option for setting different alarm times for weekend vs weekday, which is standard on many similar devices. Had I known this prior to buying I would have selected a different model.

Love this clock
I had an awful time finding a new clock radio that wasn't super ugly. I finally got this one and love it. It's not too bad looking and easy to operate. Love having the USB port to charge my phone by my bed. Also really like being able to change the brightness of the display when I go to sleep. Wasn't sure about the "slow wakeup' beeping, but it turns out it's perfect for me. I'm not startled into waking, instead the soft beep sort of enters my consciousness and then I'm usually awake enough to hit snooze before the louder beeping starts.

Mine just stopped working after 2 years!
Can't switch it on anymore...it's been 2 years since the purchase and I use it almost every day. Is there a reason why it stopped working and where can I send it to get it fixed? we don't want to pollute our planet even further by buying a new one when this one should be still working...

All the features I wanted
Cell phone alarms just don't do it for me, and I leave the radio on for my dog when I leave for work, so when my previous clock radio started having issues (radio went fuzzy depending on where the volume wheel was, resulting in missed alarms) I found myself wanting a replacement with certain features. This one has all of the features I wanted and some I don't plan to use. Things I like: - Dual alarm: I like to wake up a few minutes earlier on certain days and it's nice to not have to reset the alarm multiple times each week. - Adjustable snooze: for some reason I got attached to 7-8 minutes with my last clock, and being a creature of habit was thrilled to find a clock with programmable/adjustable snooze time. - The backlight actually turns off. It also has various levels, but I sleep better in total darkness and I don't have to cover this clock with some article of clothing. -USB connectivity: Nice to not have to plug a separate charger into the wall. Things that aren't great: - The snooze button isn't super easy to press. It's a bit small and has to be clicked in just the right spot to be useful. - Because of the above the dimmer isn't the easiest to operate if you look at the time in the middle of the night. I don't plan on using the bluetooth, so I can't comment on that.
