I got the cotton bags in each size and they are all amazing! Perfect for DIY projects.

UPDATE (6/23/17): Unfortunately I've taken off a star because I finally got around to handwashing a couple and a lot of the other reviews about shrinkage are right (I've also attached a picture showing just how much it shrank for me). I still stand by my original review (below) because it still works for my craft/packaging purposes; but for a product that's marketed for food storage which inevitably warrants people to wash it, it's unfortunate how much this shrinks. I handwashed each individually in cold water without soap and left to air dry (which also made the fabric become much more coarse and stiff, unsurprisingly). If you don't mind waiting a day or two, leaving them to air out will significantly reduce the smell if that's the only thing that bothers you. Otherwise I would advise against washing these if possible. ---------------------------------------------- I like to read the most negative reviews before making any sort of purchase so I was a bit apprehensive when I saw several people complaining about the smell and actual quality. But quite honestly, I have no idea what they're talking about. You have to expect fabrics to sometimes have "unpleasant" smells especially if they're manufactured in a factory which I assume these are. But I think the quality is great. Mine look just like the seller's pictures and I love the added kraft tags (I assume that's what the extra few dollars are going towards compared to cheaper alternatives). I was looking for bags that I could package 3" boxes I also purchase on Amazon ( 3" Small Square Paper Mache Boxes with Lids - Package of 12 Boxes ) and it fits perfectly (albeit a little too perfectly so it takes a minuscule amount of effort to get it in (see attached pictures)). I personally don't mind the smell (there is a smell, to be clear), but I'll still probably opt to handwash and air dry these anyway. I would ideally prefer no branding (the Leafico tag on the sides), but then again you should give credit where it's due :) Excited to customize these with stamps!

What a great product! I am delighted that these are 100% cotton and there is no plastic closing mechanism at the top. These will help me a great deal. I am well on my journey of plastic free / eco-friendly / zero waste thanks to these bags. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future, especially in the larger sizes. I am showing my hand with them to give you an idea of the scale / sizes. I purchased the small and medium to start, so I can bring them to the grocery store with me. But now that I am seeing them, I am thinking that on the one hand they may be too small for some circumstances but perfect for dust covers of items, corraling items when you travel, the small is perfect for a coin purse and wallet alternative ... if you think long enough, the possibilities are endless. As for the shrinking issue ... well, they are 100% cotton (which does shrink quite a bit). It is NOT a defect or flaw in the item, and should not be described as such simply because they shrunk more than anticipated. I know some immediately throw away all the cards and such often enclosed with items. Do not do that with this item! The washing / care instructions are clearly written out. I 100% recommend this item and will be budgeting for more in the future.
