Seamless Smart Home Setup, Highest Recommendation
I purchased this air purifier in November 2022 and it has worked flawlessly. The support for Thread was a key decision maker, as it ensures current and future compatibility across smart home systems. There’s no app to install and it “just works.” Personally, I use HomeKit devices, so the Airversa purifier was setup through the native Apple Home app. It allows me to power on/off the device, adjust fan speed, and shows air quality and temperature within the Home app or by asking Siri. It’s truly a seamless experience and how smart home devices should be — quick setup, no separate app, and never needs to be set up or paired again (even if moved or disconnected from power). The automatic fan speed is also great, as it will detect pollutants and increase the filtration speed, but is still relatively quiet (the noise it does produce on higher speeds is akin to “white noise” and quite soothing). I placed it near a balcony door that I often open in the spring, so when it detects pollen, it will ramp up the speed. This has caused a noticeable reduction of pollen inside my home during those spring months. Additionally, the replacement filters are readily available and comparatively inexpensive to other air purifier brands.

Great air purifier, easy to operate.
I recently purchased the Airversa air purifier, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This device has truly transformed the air quality in my home, making it a healthier and more comfortable place to live. Effective Filtration: The Airversa air purifier boasts a three-stage filtration system, including a HEPA filter that captures 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns. This means it effectively removes dust, pollen, pet dander, and even some bacteria and viruses from the air. Nice to see how the light changes color depending on air quality. Smart Connectivity: One of the standout features of this purifier is its compatibility with Apple HomeKit and Thread connectivity. This allows for seamless integration with other smart home devices, making it easy to control and monitor air quality through your iPhone or other Apple devices. Super easy setup. Quiet Operation: Despite its powerful performance, the Airversa air purifier operates quietly, with noise levels comparable to a desk fan. This makes it perfect for use in bedrooms, living rooms, or any other space where you want clean air without the noise. We use it at night. Affordable Maintenance: Replacing the filters is straightforward and cost-effective, with replacement filters priced reasonably. This ensures that maintaining the purifier is hassle-free and doesn’t break the bank. Two options of filters to choose from. Performance: In terms of performance, the Airversa air purifier excels. It quickly and efficiently cleans the air, making a noticeable difference in rooms up to 300 square feet. Whether it’s dealing with cooking odors in the kitchen or allergens in the bedroom, this purifier handles it all with ease.

Great Product
I recently purchased the AirVersa air purifier, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations right out of the box. Setting it up was a breeze, thanks to its intuitive design and user-friendly interface. The included instructions were clear and concise, making the process hassle-free. One of the standout features for me was its seamless integration with HomeKit. As an Apple user, being able to control and monitor the air purifier directly from my iPhone or iPad using the Home app was incredibly convenient. The setup was straightforward, requiring just a few simple steps to connect the device to my HomeKit ecosystem. In terms of performance, the AirVersa air purifier delivers exceptional results. It effectively removes airborne pollutants, allergens, and odors from my home, creating a cleaner and healthier indoor environment. The adjustable settings allow me to customize the purification level based on my needs, whether I’m dealing with seasonal allergies or cooking odors. Overall, I highly recommend the AirVersa air purifier to anyone in the market for a reliable and user-friendly solution to improve indoor air quality. Its ease of use, seamless HomeKit integration, and outstanding performance make it a standout choice in its category.

Best Air Purifier at this price point!
I bought this purifier in April because I kept having an itchy throat and breathing issues even though I clean my room often. Since using it, the air feels fresher and my throat irritation is gone. It works great with HomeKit, is easy to control from my phone, and runs pretty quietly. For the size it covers and the features it has, this is honestly the best air purifier I have found at this price.

Easy setup, beautifully designed!
I upgraded a few older air purifiers with two of these units. I was surprised at how their app and HomeKit connect so easily with no issues unlike many other products. Instructions were easy and the filters that come with the units are quality made just like the purifier itself is. I definitely recommend this brand due to its easy HomeKit integration and design.

Really good filter system, may not be the top for removing VOC’s but great for everything else
This is my first smart air filter system and I am pretty pleased so far. The initial setup process was really quick and the HomeKit compatibility has worked great so far. The look of this unit is nice with a great display and light and it doesn’t stand out as a cheap gadget aMy only reason for not giving a 5 star review was I used it in a 3d print room and it struggled to pull all of the VOC’s out of the air and I’m not sure the sensor they use tracks vocs. If I were to give advice, more focus on voc’s and a smaller matter supporting unit with a white noise generator would be great for our bedroom. I’ve liked it enough that I’m planning to pick up at least 2 more for covering our whole home!

After a few weeks of use, I can say that I am very pleasantly satisfied with this air purifier. The Airversa True HEPA Air Purifier has exceeded my expectations, especially in terms of performance and ease of integration with Apple Home. Setup was straightforward, and connecting it to Apple Home was quick and seamless. Being able to control and automate it directly from the Home app is a huge plus and works flawlessly. At home we cook frequently, and one of the main reasons we purchased this purifier was to help deal with cooking odors. By turning it on right after cooking, the air is noticeably refreshed in a short amount of time, effectively removing lingering kitchen smells and improving overall air quality. The unit runs quietly, even at higher settings, and feels well built. Overall, this is a reliable, efficient, and smart air purifier that I would definitely recommend—especially for Apple Home users looking for a large-room solution. Highly recommended.

I have always wanted to get an air purifier for my bedroom but just never got around to it. When I saw this AIRVERSA True HEPA Pro Air Purifier I decided to order it. PROS: - colour easy to read LED display on the top of the unit - includes 2 HEPA Pro filters which filters 99.99% of fine elements - extremely quiet operation - auto mode which increases the fan speed if the unit detects an increase in air contamination - manual mode if you want to set your own fan speed - real time air quality monitoring and display - easy to change filters NEUTRAL: - replacement filters are a little bit expensive - can be networked with iOS devices but not Android but can be used without a network connection CONS: - none so far I have been constantly running this device in my bedroom for a little over a month and have definitely noticed an improvement in the air quality. The device is so quiet that it is virtually silent and in no way interferes with my sleep. I really appreciate the auto mode which automatically increases or decreases the fan speed according to the measured air quality. The device can be networked with Apple devices but not Android devices. I am an Android user so I can't comment on how it works with iOS. The device can function without a network connection if you are not an iOS user and it functions just fine. Overall, this device has significantly and noticeably improved the air quality in my bedroom. It runs 24/7 and I plan on keeping it running constantly all the time. If you are in the market for an air purifier then this unit is definitely worthy of your consideration. Highly recommended. I've been using this air purifier now for a few weeks, my thoughts so far, VERY pleased. * Out of the box, the set up takes under a minute. The option to use with Apple home hub is great if you're an Apple fan, I however, am Android lover so that's a feature I haven't tried. * The LED and ring are huge they can be seen from across a very large room. It's easy to tell when the air is in need of a cleaning and, how quickly it kicks in (if using in auto mode). * I have an air quality sensor which shows the PM2.5 and works in sync with this purifier. I've tested candles, vape, changing our kitty litter, each time both show the same reading. I'm confident this purifier is accurate. * Size is medium, it's not heavy so if you want to move it a different location or room, it's easy enough and doesn't take up much space. * I vacuum the filters appropriately once a week, it helps remove some of the dust & dander from our cat. The filters are easy to slide out of the bottom and can be changed quickly. * The information this purifier offers is excellent. The main things I look for in an air purifier are - Visual indicators of PM2.5, Filter replacement information, Auto or manual options, Timer, and child lock (for us it's cat lock, as our kitty loves to sit right on the top of the purifier) (she made a guest appearance in my video review). Overall, for $229.99 (at time of review) this is a premium purifier that has all the bells and whistles you would want, to help keep your air clean. My only minor complaint is the lack of compatibility with Android. I would have liked to check in when we're away for a weekend. (in fairness it does clearly say "Exclusive for Apple Ecosystem" , so I will not deduct a star for that). I give this purifier 5 stars, it works better than expected, I've had no issues over the last 4 weeks of daily use. Would recommend!

This is a relatively compact and portable (well, for one it's smaller than one of my Winix's and certainly smaller than my Daikin) smart/Wi-Fi capable air purifier for small- to medium-sized rooms. It has all the common features that most others have such as speed adjustments (5 to choose from), sleep mode, and timer function. It also has a few extra features that few others have such as aromatherapy slot, air quality indicator (top, 5x status, can serve as ambient light), memory function, child lock, and finally Wi-Fi functions and integration with Apple HomeKit/Thread (not really a big fan of yet another app so I'll skip that). As aforementioned, it has an air quality LED indicator that can also serve as ambient light of sorts (albeit dim) which is decent although I'm uncertain about its accuracy because it seems to be overly sensitive (or perhaps inaccurate) because the status would change (jumping around) for no apparent reasons (no, my other air quality sensors and/or air purifiers in the same room are fine). The air quality feature on these budget air purifiers usually do NOT have adequately sensitive and properly calibrated sensors for them to be useful in many meaningful way based upon my experience. Nonetheless, the facture is there should you have the need for it (I don't, not really). There're 5 air quality levels from excellent (0-35 PM 2.5 particles) all the way to poor (116-200 particles) and unhealthy (201 particles); however, these seem extremely generous because PM 2.5 value higher than 50-60 is considered to be not ideal (i.e. moderately bad, remember the peak of forest fires last year?) even though it's categorized as being good for this particular purifier. For most people, PM 2.5 level should be kept at no more than 55-65-ish and it's perhaps not THAT bad (for a short period) but it's certainly a cause for concern especially for people who are vulnerable. I'd say the scale on this air purifier is completely inappropriate and to a certainly degree WRONG. You should not see anything above EXCELLENT level for any prolonged period of time indoor and if you see GOOD level for several hours indoor, then you've got a problem. It has 5 levels of fan speed which is fairly decent and it's better than most others that I've come across and tested (dozens) since most others only have 3 levels to choose from. Btw, the timers can only be configured/set at a per hour basis which is decent but far from good; I'd really like to see adjustable timers with 30min increment starting from 0. ≡ HEPA filter An effective air purifier needs 2 critical well performed features; filtration and air movement. TRUE HEPA filtration is the minimum requirement nowadays for a decent air purifier which this one does not really have but it's close enough (although H14/99.995% is more strictly considered as a TRUE HEPA filter by most, myself included) because it appears to be rated at >[email protected]% (H13). * Note that it does claim to have 99.97% filtration rate even though it has a H13 HEPA filter. As far as I'm concerned, H13 is only truly effective at 99.95% filtration rate unless it's otherwise CERTIFIED with 99.97%. For those who are curious, a true HEPA filter must be able to filter out at least 99.97% of particles that are 0.3 micron (or larger). This is why H13 isn't generally considered to be a true HEPA filter because it's only 99.95% effective (for particular sized particles). Now you might wonder what difference does 0.02% make; well, consider the billions upon billions of particles out there, even 0.02% can amount to a large number of unwanted particles that you don't wanna inhale. With that being said, [email protected]% is the rating for ISO (29463) standards so it really depends on which standards you are going with. Though, H13 is for the most part sufficient for consumer products. Unlike most others with a single HEPA filter, this one actually uses and comes with 2 HEPA filters (along with 2x activated carbon filters) with one at either side (inlet). This greatly increases the efficiency of the purifier but it also requires a more powerful motor which this one does seem to have and that's just great. ≡ Other filters (activated carbon filters) Like most air purifiers, it comes with a pre-filter as well as an activated carbon filter and together with the HEPA filter it's capable of 3-state filtration that's slightly above the average (since not all filters have the activated carbon filter) but it also falls short of a few others that's capable of 5-stage filtration. With that being said, I can't be certain of the true effectiveness of the activated carbon filter either so I guess I'll just have to take their words for it. ≡ Airflow capability Air movement is also CRITICAL because without movement of air (and this is exactly how HEPA filters work; through mechanical means, i.e. physical impact), nothing really gets filtered and this depends on a powerful fan that can really move large amount of air. Given the size of this portable air purifier, it does a fairly good job at that in my opinion and it moves significantly amount of air particularly at the highest settings; though it's also the loudest (but it's actually slightly quieter than Winix that I have albeit at lower rate as well). For context, this air purifier is rated for 24W while one of my Winix is rated for 70W (i.e. about 3 times the air flow and 3 times the area it's able to properly filter per hour). This unit claims to have a CADR of 221 m³/h (cubic meters per hour, ~= 130 CFM) which means it's supposed to be able to completely circulate/move a volume of air ONCE in an area of roughly 976 ft² assuming the ceiling height is about 8 ft. Note that the area it claims for this is 1000 ft² which is slightly higher than the actual area based on the CADR claimed (will, someone just can't resistant to add a few extra ft², can they?) ✔✔ Quick PRO tip: to calculate CFM required to circulate ONCE for your home, multiply the area in ft² by 0.133. For example, if your home/room is 1000 ft² and then the CFM need to circulate the air ONCE for your entire home (roughly of course) is 133 CFM. Of course, we often wanna do it about 4 TIMES PER HOUR instead of ONCE per hour (because 1hr is simply too long to be effective), you'd need something capable of 532 CFM for your home/room. As such, this particular air purifier is probably ONLY EFFECTIVE for rooms up to about 244 ft² (976/4). You can get the size of the room suitable for ANY air purifier by dividing its advertised CADR by 0.532 (e.g. 130/0.532 = 244.36) so this particular air purifier is best suited for a room up to 244 ft²). ☑ For air purifiers to be effective, you should always find the highest fan speed (i.e. highest noise level) you can or are willing to tolerate for the benefits of clean air rather than lowest noise level you'd like to have because if you do that, you are just having an expensive fan gently blowing air without doing much filtering. Remember; air can only be purified IF they pass through the filter which REQUIRES constant and consistent CIRCULATION of air. ### Last but not least, the sleep mode will turn off the all LED lights (after 10 sec) and lower the speed of the fan which should be more than sufficiently quiet for most people so that's good news; however, it's reasonably loud at the highest speed but that's NOT unique for this purifier though; it's a simple law of physics that faster moving of air will generate louder sound so I won't fault it for that. Child lock is another unique feature for this air purifier although I'm uncertain just how useful this really would be but it's there should you need it I suppose. ≡ Value All things considered, this is a fairly decent small- to medium-sized room air purifier that's reasonably priced at $200 for what it provides (one of the few that's rated for [email protected]% removal, provided that it's true of course which I can't easily verify) with 2x (H13) 3-stage HEPA filter (pre/HEPA/activated carbon filter). Most of the other budget purifiers only use 99.95% filters. Unfortunately, it's ONLY rated at 24W which is SOMEWHAT LOW and its claim of 130 CFM is at best average for air purifiers at this price range. With that being said, it does have decent features such as PM 2.5 detection/sensor, air quality indicator (albeit much too generous), child-lock, and of course Apple HomeKit/Thread integration if that's something you are interested in or if you're already part of the ecosystem.
