HEY HAWK I.... I received two orders for pellets from you folks and both tins had major dents in the tins. Your product is excellent & the shipping dept did an great job of wrapping the tins extremely well, So this damage had to come from within your company. The damage was done prior to shipping. It's up to you to fix the problem. To everybody else, These pellets are Excellent. Thanks, Chingachgook.

Very accurate in my Umarex and HW80.

I didn't test these pellets so I don't know how good they are, but they appear to be of good quality with few defective pellets. I originally bought these pellets to shoot indoors and hunt with. Given that I would be using them inside, lead content is of great importance to me as I would prefer not to breath in lead dust from the impacts and would like to switch over to non-lead ammunition as I live in California where use of non-lead hunting rounds has become law (although not for air-rifles yet). While the product description says steel alloy, I had a feeling that was wrong as amazon has had the wrong material description for another company's pellets before, I think it was a model of JSB's. To check I went ahead and did a quick density test and got a rough density of 10 g/ml +/- 1g/ml. Lead is about 11 g/ml. The only other metal in that area is nickel at 9-ish g/ml and steel is around 8 g/ml. Neither of which are flaky, from what I understand, which a lot of flakes came off the pellets. So, unless Amazon or Hawk-i would like to correct me on this, I would say that this isn't a steel alloy product, but rather a lead pellet for those who it may concern. I am still giving them a 4-star though because if that personal preference was aside, I would probably recommend these to someone.

With some of the higher velocity .177 pellet rifles you need to shoot a pretty heavy projectile to keep from going supersonic - lighter projectiles moving at trans-sonic speed lose their accuracy and produce bad groups. This is the heaviest .177 projectile I've found and is certainly a good solution to keeping velocities lower. Delivers a mighty whack on impact, although I have had better luck and tighter groups with a different ammo brand.

Raccoons a problem? Not no more.

These shoot accurately and consistently!MOST importantly they are heavy enough they exit the muzzle subsonic from my BSA-SS.And THAT means there is NO "rifle crack" when you shoot these. Just the sound of the pellet gun itself.No sonic boom rifle crack from the pellet itself like you get when shooting lighter supersonic pellets.

good option for an alternative to slugs! plus, it fits into just about everything .177
