The Norton Anthology of American Literature (A&B)

Wonderful college text book for cheap.

These Norton anthologies in general should be comprehensive in their selections and contain periodic representative samples of writing. This anthology does exactly that, in both its volumes. The price is fair and the editors are balanced. Worth your attention.

This book is expensive but the works inside are gold. I like the footnotes, but I wish the cover and pages were more durable. I don’t think these books will last very long and that’s disappointing for the price point the books are sold at.

The book is a great product - it's a comprehensive collection of important American literature. However, this expensive book was shipped in a flimsy bag without protective wrapping. It got a little dented. Plus, it had a message that said "not returnable if shrink wrap is opened," and it arrived with the shrink wrap ripped open! Felt like a scam.

Bought these books for a college class. They came as expected. If they’re required for your course, Amazon is probably the best/cheapest option for this set!

Un ottimo supporto per chi vuole conoscere la letteratura inglese. I libri sono scritti in inglese quindi bisogna già avere una buona comprensione della lingua. Ce una introduzione del periodo storico, degli autori e poi delle ottime antologie sulle opere. Davvero un ottimo prodotto.

These volumes were my son’s required texts for his English class and they definitely served as an interesting companion to the class.

An astonishing compilation of the American literature with great introductions and a careful editing work. I can only but recommend it to anyone interested in the topic and to anyone who wishes to broaden the boundries of his/her knowledge of the American culture.
