R7-C Back Massager with Heat

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother, as I am solely a secondary beneficiary to her excellent decision to purchase this product for the third time, (this time cordless!) as she enjoyed such effective relief (of muscle tension, spasm, pain, etc) from her own personal experience using the product, she decided to pass on the original to her sister, and purchase another as a gift to my brother, who spends long hours hunched over the computer, for work reasons.Pardon the lengthy sentence structure, but please bare with me for a moment…As such, my mother orders this back massager, for the third time, spending a little extra so that she could enjoy the cordless, rechargeable (and do note, it does hold charge for significant usage between charges) convenience, as a well deserved treat to herself.Now, here is where I, her sole daughter, of 30 nearly years, who happens to live, for the time being, with her (my mother) in her home at present, come into play:My mom, being such an earnest fan and consistent user of this back massager, was repeatedly insisting that I give it a try. Admittedly, I took my sweet time and ignored many a suggestion to try this product before finally coming around due to a mix of curiosity and persistent muscle tension as per my shoulders primarily.Now, and I tell no false tales, dear review reader, this massager is without a doubt superior to any back massager I have ever used in my life, robot or human notwithstanding. I cannot express this with deeper seriousness.First, I suppose it operates on some kind of artificial intelligence or algorithm of sorts, but in any case, it really gives a personalized massager as if it were… reading the way your muscles respond to the applied pressure of the rolling/moving ball mechanisms inside the massager. All this without having to enter in a bunch of heinously superfluous buttons to unlock the secret code of receiving truly effective relief. There are a few simple choices, pressure, heat, maybe one or two others but regardless of your choices, you cannot go wrong.In all seriousness, the process of identifying and then working out the spasms in your back and neck, if deeply effective, brilliantly intelligent, and capable of offering real lasting relief to pains and soreness that have continued to disturb you for years if not decades.If you are in the market for a compact and straightforward back massager that WORKS, this is the only choice, the cut above the rest. If you are not in the market for anything at all. If you have any stresses whatsoever. I'm sitting here getting a massage as I write this. Compared to any other massagers I have owned this is incredible. The heat feels amazing and not just lukewarm. The cloth cover isn't weird mesh that irritates the skin. The massage feels great, not just like hard pieces of plastic punching you uncomfortably. It is meant to rest your back on, unlike my last massager that broke from the mere pressure of my shoulders. And it just lays there after a hard day and neither you nor your partner have to hold a bullet gun massager until your arms go numb. This is truly the best thing I've bought recently on Amazon if not ever!It has a battery?! What? It comes with a car charger? Double what?! It doesn't have a weird smell, it has minimal packaging, it has multiple modes, heat settings, etc.?! Is this legal?Truly this review is a little one-sided but I really don't have any negatives. I don't like the color? Seriously. I was blown away with the quality of this item and felt I should make the review. I love it!As someone with constant neck pain, this instantly got right in and cleared out the day of stress and pain better than my last massager and rivaled only with my massage gun, which is hard to use since you have to hold it. 5 star product!

update, after using it for a week I love it! It works wonderful I like it but the add is a little misleading. They must have used a very small person because it does not wrap around your neck head the way pic shows and it is not as big as you think it would be. On saying that so far it works nice and seems decent quality and feels good I just wish it did larger area.

I bought this because I have neck and back pain and was taking a very long road trip (11 hours each way). I hoped this would help a little with the pain. It worked amazingly well. I did not use the heat function so I can't say whether that worked well or not. But the massage function performed surprisingly well on the back. I used it three times on the way down and four on the way back. Absolutely did a fabulous job. All of that was on the back.I tried using it on the neck. That did NOT work well. The massage mechanism is spread too far apart for me. Obviously it will work better if you have a larger neck. But if you have a relatively thin neck you can only use one at a time and it just doesn't work well.I think the device and value for the money is excellent. If I had a wish list, I wish the massage mechanisms could be adjusted to be closer or father depending on need. Second, if would be nice if the mechanisms would move up and down a few inches. But those are nits to pick. Overall definitely worth it.

This product worked well for occasional use over a 2 yr period. However tonight I went to use it and everything was fine the first couple of minutes. I then began to smell something burning and very a strong chemical like odor. I didn’t wait to see what would happen next. I immediately unplugged it and gave it a whiff to confirm these sudden smells were coming from the unit. They were. I don’t know if wiring started burning or what but it smelled like both toxic fumes and a burning smell. I do not recommend this unit out of doubt for user safety.
