Well packaged but does not have a long date

DO NOT BUY. Having bought these as a gift for my parents anniversary I was horrified to see them open them only to find disgusting, melted, old, bubbly chocolates inside. I then immediately ordered a replacement only to get sent another set exactly the same. Both sets expire in a week. Absolute joke. Totally disgusting.

This is one of my regular choices from the Hotel Chocolat range. I like fruit flavours and those are always very fresh and tasty, whereas others in the house prefer caramels. Both tastes are covered admirably in this box and there are none that get left behind as, even those that you think you aren’t sure about taste pretty good and I have found some of those end up becoming favourites.We don’t like alcohol in chocolates and these are a pleasingly alcohol-free selection that are also suitable for vegetarians.All of the chocolates are well presented and taste fresh with my favourite fruit flavours having a real zing. Should the unthinkable happen and a box gets forgotten for a while (I know, but it has happened), the chocolates continue to stay good to eat beyond their best before date.This selection is a good choice for anyone that doesn’t like alcohol in chocolate and includes a good, varied range to suit all palates.
