So far so good
My kid started taking piano lessons, so I started to continue my adult learning (took a 20-year pause). While looking for a headphone jack on the back of my old Yamaha PSR-260, I found a “sustain” jack. I never know I could plug in a pedal, so I was so excited to buy this! Bought this very simple one to try it out. Worked right out of the box.I did not read the instructions, but it is simple to operate. There are two modes (flip the switches):N.O. Mode. - In this mode your keyboard will sound as is. You’ll have to press the pedal to sustain the notes.N.C. Mode - In this mode, the notes will sustain automatically without needing to press on the pedal. If you need that sustain sound to stop, press the pedal. My only small issue is that the power cord angles at the output jack, so I had to tilt it a bit. Not a big deal.

Great addition to my keyboard!
I had been looking for a good quality sustain pedal for some time and was skeptical when I came across this one for the price. To my surprise, it works like a charm and adds so much to my piano playing! Anyone that is looking for one should add this to their cart!

Good pedal but slips
This is a nicely weighted pedal. The one issue is that it will slip away from you on a smooth floor so you need to secure it.

Best Bang for your Buck
It's good. It works. But it's not heavy enough, nor does it have good grip for the floor. My solution is gaff tape. A lot of inexperienced keyboard players will just sort of bang it around with their foot getting frustrated. For the price, you can't beat it. that being said, I always have a backup pedal for gigs, this pedal is no exception.

Mind the switch!
Well made. Looks like it can take the abuse. Mind the switch on the right side of the pedal.

Always better to have a sustain pedal
OEM branded pedals are crazy expensive in comparison to off brand. Be aware that different brands use different circuitry to connect although the plug is the same. Be sure to get a pedal that you can switch or you will need to check the pedal is compatible with your keyboard.I have a digital piano that has a built in pedal and this one was for a practice keyboard I purchased. The attached pedal is more stable when playing but this pedal is much better than the cheap switches that come with many of the keyboards. It works and feel similar to the real thing, and I loved the savings.
