Grind off the paint that comes with the product before you weld.
Very well made, worked perfectly on my 8’ 5” 250lb steel gates.

Ridged hinge.
Quality built, ball bearing helps with weight. I’m using them on a 200 pound double gate. Theres more than I needed, but better more than not enough They should come in bare metal as the coating messes with the weld. So you need to bring off the coating for a better weld.

Great hinge but too big for my purpose, had to return it.

I use them on their trailer for a door hinge on the ramp portion
I got these to replace some busted hinges on a toy hauler style trailer with the ramp to run it these work perfectly fine I only messed up slightly when I installed them the first round didn't quite put the weld right other than that rounded off free welded it they worked perfectly fine for I was using them for held up just fine

Worked very well
They too the welding heat well. They had to be repainted after the heat from welding burnt it off. They are as described.
