This heater door actuator came in the OEM box with the correct part #. I installed it 3 days ago and all is fine. Its nice to have ac on the drivers side. Worked for me.

Actual OEM
Not yet installed but the Product came in an actual GM Genuine parts box. This part will go under the dash behind the radio under the air duct for controlling passenger side. Very hard to get to and hope it will last years to come being OE original equipment.

Very Pleased!
While my husband is a mechanic, I looked at a few youtube videos on replacing this part and decided that I could actually tackle it myself. I wrote down instructions from the video, and was able to replace the part myself. The only dtricky part that I could see in replacing it was making sure that you adjust your air temp while using a little dental type mirror to watch the little dial line up at 12:00 before detaching the old one and putting the new one in. Of course you have to unplug your battery and also there are other steps in turning the key to the "on" position etc to reset the computer etc. Just write the steps down and follow. But it was easy. The part is working great and I saved a ton of money! I think I purchased it for $83+ and the parts house wanted about $275. This part said OEM. My a/c is working great!

Fixed the problem
We had a problem with the zoned air conditioning on a 2005 Tahoe not working correctly. The air conditioning vent next to the driver's window would start blowing hot air when it should not and the only way of normally fixing it was to stop the SUV, turn the motor off and restart. That would work most of the time. Youtube videos indicated a good chance that this was the solution and it was. The GM product is more expensive than generic aftermarket parts but this thing is a pain to put in so I paid more in the hope that it will work and not have to be replaced.

Not a difficult replacement. Have faith and do it yourself.
This was perfect for my 1997 Olds Cutlass Supreme SL. I had no drivers side heat. Found the two blend door actuators under the dash. Tough to get to, but not impossible. Although comments told me this was the issue, I was unsure if this really was the culprit. I gave in to going to the dealer and got an $825 estimate! No way!! Took my car home after a diagnosis that the drivers side actuator was sticking. Found this exact replacement for $107. Dealer wanted $290 for the part! It took 15 minutes and two 7/32 screws to remove. Maybe 30 minutes to put the new one in. We have heat! If in doubt, YOU CAN DO THIS YOURSELF. Don't go to the dealer and pay out of the nose. Hint: remove the trim plate under the steering wheel or glove box. It will give you more room to move and see what you're doing. I am a very happy camper tonight.

Fixed the truck
2004 suburban had an issue. When AC on it blew heated air out of the driver's vents. This part fixed the issue, and it looked and fit just like the one I took out.

AC blend door actuator module
OEM part Fixed AC issue on 2013 Chevy Silverado. Driver side vents would blow hot air while p.side blew cold air. Located at bottom center of dash after removing cover. Has 2 screws securing module and 1 connector. New OEM part is the one w/o the sticker. Connect plug to AC module w/ key on to set module to park setting for easier installation. Driver side vents now blow cold air also.

Actuator asembly is the HOT (cold) ticket
My 2004 GMC Yukon would blow hot air on drivers side (with a/c on) when all other vents were cold. If you shut off vehicle and removed the key, open door to cut delay circuit, then start vehicle it would cycle back to cold for unknown amount of time. Maybe rest of day maybe a few minutes. I checked blog websites and Sparkey's answers for info on this. 98% of research has been done on this problem aiming at a replacement to solve the issue. Follow their instructions. Relatively easy to replace. Tough part is getting the hush cover off and on as one screw is hard to access with normal tools. Need 7 mm to remove hush cover and 5.5mm for the actuator. Beside the cover, the actuator came right off and went right on. Look at the research and study the procedures and should be no problem. The hush cover install was again tough as the last screw under the console is hard to access. Now working like a charm. Oh Yes...Amazon has once again smoked the competition with their price on this item.
