Ubiquiti Networks UAP AC in-Wall Access Point 5-Pack (UAP-AC-IW-5-US)

Upgraded my whole home from Nest wifi to an entire Unifi stack and it's been great. My house is wired with Cat5e in the walls but not in the ceilings so regular AP's would be suboptimal, not to mention the fact they wouldn't allow me to leverage the hardwiring. I have a total of 5 of these throughout my 4000 sq ft home and I have the unifi switches wired to each inwall access point so needless to say, I have the awesome Wifi coverage I need plus access to ethernet as well. The LED lights on these things are bright so unless you want that you can turn it off. My, not so genius builder, has all my Cat5 wired half way up the walls where one might mount of a TV so my units are more prominent than others, but I have some creative solutions -- hiding behind some artwork -- so as to blend in well. Overall, I am super happy. I have a 1GB fiber line and have super fast connections (wired) to my work computers, peripherals and consoles and rock solid wifi throughout the house, more than enough to meet everyone's needs.

I had Linksys before..then switched to ubiquiti picostations which give strong signal but bad speed.After i bought and installed 5 Unifi AC in Wall i really saw a big difference. They work like a magic with unifi cloud key. fairly easy to install them yourself in the wall without getting help from a technician. Awesome speed. Reliable. They created a mesh wireless network.

These APs are great if you already have wiring in the walls of an office but do not want to run more cables for access points in the ceiling. I also absolutely love the POE out AND Data out! I have not seen that done before from an AP. We use Ubiquiti products a lot in our clients installations and have had very few problems with them so far!

These access point shave worked out really well. I love that they’re wall mounted, which makes them very easy to install. The extra ports on the bottom also provide a lot of flexibility. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the range has seemed a bit less than what I expected from previous UniFi access points.
