I got exactly what I ordered. I love the fact they lock and are made of pretty durable heavy duty plastic so no rusting around the edges.

Works as described
I got into a bad wreck that cause the front end up my 98 mustang to be destroyed. The guy I bought it from had good latches on the car, but after the wreck, the hood was bent and they would no longer work. After much repair, we were able to get the hood looking okay again and replaced the broken hood latches with these. They ended up working out great. The are a little more flimsy than the ones that were on there before, but they definitely do the trick by 1) keeping the hood securely latched and 2) locked, so no one can get under the hood to steal anything.

Buy The Real Thing
Spend the money and get the real aero catch pins. These are already a project to install in it of itself. Don’t want to install these and have them break right away or not fit which I’ve seen with the cheap version. Spend the extra 50 n save the headache
