I’ll keep this short and simple at the top but for those of you who want specifics, keep reading.Pros:-Eli and Elm offers a 45 night return policy. If you’d re unhappy with your blanket after 45 nights, you will receive a refund.-You will receive a a high quality storage bag the comforter will come in (see photos).-Easily foldable.-Built in corner loop taps to allow for easy duvet cover use-Easy cleaning care and machine washable-Size. The blanket comes in 3 sizes and each size is true to size.-Cool temperature and soft fabric.Cons:-Only comes in one color. This will likely change since the product was just launched this month.Return: Most companies do not offer the 45 night return policy or they will make the return process extremely challenging. I investigated this return policy after a prior horrid experience with a $300 weighted blanket produced from a top leading bedding company. While the other company did have a return policy, I had to pay a restocking fee and all shipping charges. After taking the blanket to USPS to cover the shipping fees, I quickly realized I will have spend $270. This is NOT the case with Eli and Elm. Nor will you have to spend hours on the phone with customer support and exchange emails for a couple weeks to make the return. Eli and Elm offers 24/7 customer support making this a breeze. Please keep in mind, if purchasing from Amazon directly vs. The company website, the return policy is different [Amazon offers 30 days vs. Eli and Elm’s 45 days (Amazon’s choice, not Eli and Elm) but they do allow extended returns when you contact them via customer support chat after the return window has closed].Storage Bag: Unlike ANY other company I have purchased a weighted blanket from, Eli and Elm provides you with a durable storage bag with your weighted blanket purchase. This is outstanding because no one wants to invest another $30+ for a storage bag that a luxury bedding piece should include (considering the quality and price of the item). Not even Cariloha does this.Foldability: The weighted blanket is easy to fold. The quality and design of the blanket makes it extremely easy to fold along the quilted patches of the blanket. My Cariloha weighted blanket does not have this ability and currently sits balled up in a corner. I can’t even get it to fold up (somewhat) to fit back in the box it came in. Eli and Elm made this design aspect flawless.Built-In Corner Loop Tabs: Have you honestly ever seen a weighted blanket that has built in corner tabs to secure a duvet cover over it? I have NOT and I have been on a weighted blanket scavenger hunt for years. This feature is amazing and highly sought for when I purchase larger blankets/inserts. There is nothing more frustrating than having to unbutton a duvet cover time after time to adjust the insert because it doesn’t have corner tabs. The corner tabs are extremely durable (as they should be considering the weight of the blanket) and consist of multi-layered fabric to ensure this. I am an “active” sleeper or as my significant other would say “a monster to sleep with” so I tested the tabs out with one of my Pottery Barn duvet covers for a few nights and it worked perfectly. The durability of the corner loop tabs are “monster sleepers” approved.Cleaning Care: I waited to finish my review of the Eli and Elm Weighted Blanket until I slept with it for a few nights and washed and dried it. I have an average sized washer and dryer and the king size blanket fit perfectly in both appliances and I was able to include 2 towels and some clothes without any issues. My laundry room did not sound like a NASA launch facility and the blanket only needed one dry cycle to complete the drying. This is a huge deal for me because quenching my hands and praying my appliances don’t break on top of wasting time and money drying a blanket on several cycles is annoying. Please do note that the blanket is a bit harder to move once it’s wet (as everything is after being washed) so I did have a hard time moving it being a petite 100 pound female but nothing I couldn’t accomplish myself. Size: The Eli and Elm Weighted Blanket comes in 3 sizes: King, Queen/Full, Twin. I ordered the king thinking it would run small since 99% of inserts and weighted blankets I have ordered do. I have a queen size bed and I cannot tell you how many times I’ve ordered a queen sized blanket just to have the blanket not cover my mattress. It is disappointing to be extremely excited to receive a high end product just to have it not fit your bed properly. Thankfully, this was not the case with Eli and Elm. On top of the blanket being true to size, the variety of sizes is a nice bonus. Most blankets I find do not have a variety of sizes to choose from (Casper, Cariloha, etc.). This is a problem for people who want to have their entire mattress covered or who are taller folks because the standard 60x80 and 60x70 blankets are not for everyone or for people who sleep with a significant other.-Fabric and Temperature: The fabric of the weighted comforter is extremely soft. I honestly thought the blanket was rayon or another bamboo derivative fabric but turns out it is cotton. Another big factor is the temperature of a fabric when I sleep. I am a hot sleeper and do not like to wake up feeling sticky or feeling fresh out of a sauna. The fabric and technology Eli and Elm uses in the blanket keeps the temperature regulated while hugging you in soft and smooth fabric. Thankfully, I have not woken one morning hot, sticky or sweaty after sleeping with the Eli and Elm Weighted Comforter. I am a fabric snob when it comes to bedding and this comforter has my A+ seal.

Quality from beginning to end - From the box it arrived in, the bag the blanket is stored in, to the blanket itself. I like the bonus of the storage bag (you'll find all kinds of uses for it). The blanket offers crisp, yet smooth cotton. The blanket is stark white with silver/gray piping. I appreciate the baffle box stitching throughout; In fact, it is double stitched. The 17 pound weight was perfect for me. I can turn freely and there is not excessive weight in the toe area. Love this blanket!

This is a light to medium weight, weighted comforter. It is extremely well-made. The glass beads are in the fabric so they don’t bunched together. It was very thoughtfully designed and should give years of comfort. Well worth the price.
