Camping shovel

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This seemed to be the most durable. I tested the shovel blade to trim the trees in my yard. It chopped green limbs 2-3 inch no problem. Haven't tested it on harder dead branches yet. It's no axe, but it can handle some chopping. Knife is decently sharp, though I did sharpen it more. I like the hollow tubes so you can nest things like fishing lines, hooks, cordage, matches, lighter etc. all in all I like it. I'll be looking for additional tubes so it can convert to a hiking stick of sorts.

This shovel has it all! Great value and utility! It is compact and stores easily! Perfect for ranch work and camping.

The photo speaks for itself, I got everything advertised. The carrying case is very low quality (Think of the cheapest backpack material), but the design is well thought out. Seems like, for the price, this is a good deal if you want a collapsible shovel. Shovel material were of decent to good quality. What made it for me was that extention tubes are available for this model. So with a tiny bit more space I have a full length shovel that still fits in the provided case. Worth the price In my opinion.

Liked the build quality, better than the sailor Sarah model. It’s longer, tighter tolerances, thicker shovel, has a compass, nicer knife, nice spear, a desert camouflage bag. I purchased both kept this of course it’s double the price but for half the price the sailor is a decent buy. The German made model is $200 where as this model is made in China to German specs, therefore the lower price.

I bought it as a gift for my son, but as soon as I opened it there was already a hole in the case/ bag. I'm a bit disappointed.
