Penguin fun for all

This penguin is adorable! Our 4 year old loves playing with it and gets a kick out of the penguin repeating everything.The batteries die quickly though, so turn off when not in use...IF you can pull the velcro on the back apart to do so. I've never encountered velcro so strong!Overall happy with the purchase and if it makes the kids happy then that's what matters!

not as exciting as you'd think

Bought with the hopes it would maintain a recording for later replay. It does not.Whatever you say in that moment is what is quickly spits back out - and yes its kinda funny - but its quick and then done. One and done.No instructions in the box - that was really frustrating. Outside of box says "Shake / Repeat / Companion" so here I was shaking it and trying to figure it out. Oh to be the fly on the wall.Sending it back. I had hopes of recording a birthday message & sending it off to my college son at his dorm, but this definitely won't work.

Fun toy for kids and adults!

This toy when switched on will record a few seconds of dialog, then repeat it in a high pitched chipmunk voice! The voice is not sped up, it's modulated to a higher pitch without changing its speed.Kids will love it, but it also makes a cute gift for adults, especially girls!Be careful when tightening the battery door screw, its threads are only in plastic and it strips very easily! Even if it does strip the clips still hold the batteries in fine.

Garbage.

If zero starts was an option, this product is deserving of it. When it plays back whatever you say, it is very distorted, sometimes completely inaudible or nothing at all. Definitely one of those you get what you pay for or even worse. Avoid and save your money by not buying this for your child.
