This is an excellent bread slicer. It allows you to choose how wide the area is to hold the bread you will be slicing. The slots are sturdy and make slicing the bread easy. It comes apart and the upright parts can be stored under the the part the bread sits on to allow easy storage. The nicest part for me is the tray on the bottom that catches the crumbs. That tray can also be used for other purposes in the kitchen. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This attractive and useful item fell apart after three weeks BUT I received a full refund promptly from Kisscore when I wrote a distressed review. Amazon had been unresponsive to my inquiries and I no longer had the packing materials as required for return. But Kisscore responded right away. Feel free to buy this attractive and useful item. It took a while to figure out the best thickness for my bread slices - I think the guides in the middle are the Goldilocks ones: not too thin, not too thick, but just right. The bamboo slats are very rigid, so do not bend as you are slicing. The apparatus is a bit clunky to assemble and disassemble, but all the parts fit together well, and it's very sturdy. The serrations on the knife are very coarse and tear at the bread rather than slice it smoothly. I've gone back to using my old knife - I would recommend buying the model that doesn't include the knife. All in all, it works very well, and is a great improvement over my old flimsy plastic slicer.

I bought this slicer because I love the way it can break down and store without taking up much space in the cupboard, and also how it's adjustable. I will not cut on plastic anymore, so this seemed perfect. However, there are some design flaws that ultimately led to me returning it.1) I wish the thickness guide was uniform instead of providing multiple slice thicknesses on one guide. Perhaps include several guides that are uniformly spaced. It's a pain to make sure you're using the part of the guide that matches what you want each time.2) I like how you can adjust the width depending on the bread type, however, because the bottom isn't solid, when I cut a slice I didn't want to catch my knife blade and drag my knife across those slats on the bottom and ended up not slicing through the bread completely. It's cool that it helps catch crumbs underneath, but I would rather slice completely through the bread and have to clean up crumbs.3) I use an electric bread knife to cut my bread, and the slits in the sides aren't quite wide enough to easily pass that knife through.

It cuts the bread very nicely and it makes it toaster size

The media could not be loaded. Well made. Used my own 10" bread knife. Have to 1st put knife in the slot away from you - then angle down to cut bread carefully selecting the right slot to do this. Cuts are very clean. Like to add a wood block between the bread and the opposite side. Use my hand for now to hold the bread so it is tight against the slots nearest me. Folds away and takes up very little space. Grips added to the bottom help hold the slicer in place. A good buy!!! Especially Black Friday!!

Haven’t even used it yet. Got it out of the box to put together when our bread maker arrived. All the sides on the tray immediately came apart, unglued/unnailed. I legit touched it for maybe 45 seconds. Terrible quality. Didn’t even get to use it.

This appears to be quality product! The wood tray is beautiful and it includes a bread knife. I haven't used it yet but will update this review when I do use it.

Il est très solide, ramasse bien les miettes, petit négatif, mon pain est trop haut pour bien évaluer l’épaisseur des tranches, donc s’il était plus haut ou large cela réglerait le problème.

Couteau coupe mal, fente trop large pour épaisseur du couteau.
