God of War: The Official Cookbook of the Nine Realms (Gaming)

I got it for the sketch art and interesting Norse stuff. This book is pretty good. I love reading about the fun stories and recipes.

I loved this cook book and even though I haven’t made anything out of it yet, I still love it. The recipes are divided by realms, and (if you’re like me) I’m reading each entry in Mimir’s voice

My husband is a huge GoW fan. He had no idea this existed. The dishes, drinks, spice mixes, etc. do not exist in the game, but they all could.The artwork is beautiful throughout the book. The special touch of adding stories about the recipes is wonderful.Highly recommend for GoW fans as a decoration, but not as a guidebook for any food you may have seen in the game series so far.The pages are thick. They are coated in something so they feel like they will wipe clean easily if something spills on the pages, but we have yet to test this theory.

I bought this cookbook as a birthday gift for my bff, who is not only into Norse Mythology, she even probably played the game. She absolutely loved the cookbook!

Very approachable recipes. Most recipes only require one special ingredient that may be a little expensive and could generally be found in most grocery stores. Generally very easy to make and easy to follow directions. I’ve made about a dozen recipes at this point including some drinks and spice mixtures. A good mixture in the type of food. The lore and flavor text on the recipes is very fun and adds to charm. The art is great. I highly recommend for a fan of the games and to anyone looking for some easy to make recipes to spice up your usual menu.

Fortunately I like themed cookbooks. So I've got only good things to say. The recipes are nicely laid out and easy to follow for the most part. The ones that we've tried are really good. But its the theme that causes one to buy the book and it is packed with lore and God of War goodness. I don't know if I'd buy this if you don't want to cook, but the same can be said about any cookbook.

Like most other video game cookbooks I have I bought this on account of the quality I have come to expect of insight edition cookbooks, like all the others, it is easy to read, easy to follow, ingredients are easy to find locally, and the book itself is well made

This was a gift for my brother in law. He loves the God of War series, and he loves cooking and baking, so he was absolutely stoked to get this cookbook. He looked through it immediately and kept making comments like, "I'm gonna have to make that," and "that looks really good." Very pleased with the book itself and the outcome of the gifting.
