Good brace, but a bit more bulky than I thought it would be

I love this knee brace. It’s very sturdy and the best hinged brace I’ve found yet. One thing to note is that the sizing is a little unique, or maybe I’m just unique. I’m a 6 ft tall women, size 12, about 200 pounds and ordered a 2XL and 3XL. I don’t think I have overly large thighs, but I was shocked at the thigh portion being relatively tight, with the 3xl being too big. The 2XL works, but when I run or play volleyball, I just have to keep pulling it up so the kneecap and hinges hit at the right spot. This is going to be specific to each individual body, but overall I highly recommend this brace.

This Omples brace is a knock off of a Shock Doctor design, I'm wearing the original on my right knee and the Omples on my left. It's a night and day difference on quality. The Shock Doctor feels comfortable, supportive, and like I could wear it all day without it bothering me. The Omples doesn't feel right. The opening for the kneecap is a bit too small and so instead of providing stability, it feels like it's pushing my kneecap awkwardly into my leg and that's really uncomfortable. It's tight at the knee and way too loose at the top and bottom. This brace might be a good fit for some, but it definitely wasn't for me.

I recently purchased this knee brace from Amazon after suffering a bad knee injury, and I can confidently say that it has been a game-changer for me. This knee brace has not only helped me recover, but it has also allowed me to get back to the gym and resume my workouts with confidence.Right from the moment I put it on, I could feel the support and stability it provided to my injured knee. The brace is well-constructed, and it feels comfortable to wear, thanks to the adjustable straps that allow for a personalized fit. This was particularly important for me, as I wanted something that would not only stabilize my knee but also provide comfort during my workouts.What impressed me the most was its effectiveness in reducing the pain and discomfort I used to experience during exercise. I was able to do my leg exercises and cardio workouts without constantly worrying about my knee. It provided the right amount of compression and support, which helped me regain my confidence and strength.

I have a home gym and occasionally just like to have some extra support if my knee is bothering me when I use weights. I wear it with shorts, am happy with it, and have no complaints. Any brace I use always feels a little weird (especially doing exercises) with material bunching during compressions. This is no different, but it's just something that exists with any brace used, and I can't drop the rating as a result.I've seen other reviewers require the brace much moreso than I and use it daily. So, I'd definitely scan through what they say if you're more reliant on it than I am. They might provide some insight on how long the brace holds up over time.Be sure to size this properly (depending on how you wear it). Use a tape measure to get accurate measurements around your knee and don't rely on other sizes of braces you wore in the past or guessing. It'll likely save you the effort of exchanging the product.Personally, I don't wear braces over clothing and wouldn't recommend it as it might make the brace too tight and uncomfortable. Plus, different clothing has different thickness and might either make it too loose (providing less support) or too tight (also bad).To sum up: I recommend this brace as a good product and definitely a nice value for the money.

My knees are in need of a dbl in replacement ( don't ask). Frustrating and new tears to the meniscus in both knees...(ladders not my friend) I ordered this on Prime days & realized that 2 didn't register...I swore I chose 2 for quanity...Soni ordered another asap yesterday & received in less then 24hrs! At 3am this Supreme brace came and by 6am when I awoke, I rushed to put on b4 my coffee was made!!! And I am so Excited and hope this will help withbwalking and daily tasks. Already I feel thebsupport and ease from twisting too much..my other one should be here shortly too..excited. As you know 1 must be in fit and in weight range for surgery..frustrating when its hard to walk and exercise. My heart and body will be happy to get out and walk again! Ty!I have had many braces in past 5 yrs+ and have to say...this one (for me) is Comfortable and study with ease. 4 stars because I haven't done a walk as of yet. Cruising around the house great!It will be warm and is bulky , but we're talking super supportive and at 6'1" pushing 300+ its perfect and don't care what I look like... I'm just a New Marvel Character now..😆
