I originally got there to use as a backup pair of shears for when my regulars (kenchii and buttercup) shears are at the sharpener. These are light, very durable and sharp! I run a salon and see anywhere from 5-10 dogs a day and I was very impressed at these shears. I honestly didn’t think I’d get much for $40 and man I was wrong! I almost prefer these over my kenchii Japanese steel shears. The straights are okay, but the curves and thinning shears are perfect! I usually end up using these daily, the curves have been great for just about anywhere on the dog. The thinning shears blend flawlessly and give all my grooms that nice finishing touch. I highly recommend these for anyone, especially skeptic professional groomers. I was pretty skeptic at first, but like I said...I was wrong. These shears are amazing! You really won’t be sorry, give them a try and see what they can do. I’m so glad that I did! They work just as good as the other expensive brands that you see! I attached a photo from a groom earlier this week, all I used was the curves and thinning shears that day and I’m falling even more in love with with!

I’m a professional dog groomer and bought these for a backup when my Kenchiis need sharpening. I’ve found myself reaching for these more often than the set I paid hundreds of dollars for. They are inexpensive enough that I don’t cringe if I drop them. I’ve had these for a month or so and after almost daily use they are still sharp and cutting great.

I bought this as a temporary set while my other shears get sharpened. They surpassed my expectations. I love how the blenders cut & actually prefer them to my normal blenders. I don’t know how long they’ll hold an edge, but I’ve been using them a week, and so far so good. My only complaint is they do not come with finger rings. Thankfully they are light weight shears so it’s not a big deal.

*Professional Groomer here.* I have used this set for about a week in the salon. So far I am loving the straights and thinning shears! The thinning shears have replaced my usual ones for daily use. I gave 4 stars because, like other reviewers have stated, the curved shears don’t work. At all. They are very light, which I love. For the price you can’t beat it, honestly. Even if 2 out of the 3 shears works. They work greats as dailies or backups. My coworkers are likely getting the same set after using mine. I would definitely recommend this set. You won’t be disappointed!

I keep buying these- they last longer than my bosses kenchii shears she paid several hundred dollars for. SHE takes them over too on occasion. I am on my 3rd set ( since 2017) and I have yet to sharpen them but I know people who have had them sharpened at least twice before tossing them out. Excellent , value shear . My only complaint is that the finger rest on my last set of thinners is somewhat stripped out and keeps falling off- but its a small complaint!

the scissor came in sharp but is not smooth. an little touch of oil smooth it. also the gold color was not consistent some parts of it are fading. the comb is not nicely build it appears to be fading it's color. the pouch came in with an extra holder inside which makes me think it is supposed to be for another scissors or grooming tools.

For the price, the scissors are great I got them as an extra to not mess up my expensive ones and I use both now because they are so good

I have BMD and Golden, so they don't need much grooming- pretty much just neatening feet and ears. That said, these are great. They're nice and sharp, and make grooming a breeze.
