Great price for a good product

Local super market stopped carrying the tubs. This product is essentially dehydrated milk, sugar, cocoa and small amount of vitamins. It has a long shelf life and buying 6 at a time works for me. Been drinking this since I was a kid in the 90's and has a unique chocolate flavor and is a solid, quick morning option but also makes a decent hot coco.

I’m a big fan of this. It tastes great, easy to use and I think it help with my energy. My only struggle is it can be difficult to fully clean containers I use to mix it up in. I think it’s worth the hassle though

I buy this regularly. On the last shipment, one of the covers was raised and the foil ripped, spilling some powder. On this shipment, there’s a significant amount of powder in the packaging, but I didn’t unwrap to see how many are damaged. There’s no sense in ordering a pack if I’m going to lose half a can in the packaging, and with the foil seals broken, it could be contaminated. I’ve ordered this at least 6 times, so this isn’t my expectation of how it should be, but it’s making me reconsider. There was no damage to the outside box, which was fitted to the canisters (was the only thing in the box and was a snug fit).

Two containers were opened. The containers have a mylar film affixed for an airtight seal. The mylar film on 2 containers partially peeled away from the top, which led to 2 of the instant breakfasts spilling. I'm reluctant to try again. Things are too expensive these days to buy something that you know, statistically, will be damaged. Hence, 3 stars for the bad packing. The product itself though, is always 5 stars. The Carnation instant breakfast is still a thick, delicious and nutrient rich way to start your day. A meal or a snack, I just love this stuff.

I had been drinking Slim Fast and thought I needed a change. The Slim Fast has a lot more chocolate flavor. This is quite good but I keep thinking I should add some chocolate syrup. This is great for controlling my breakfast calories, fills me up, and keeps me full longer than the Slim Fast. If left on my own, breakfast is a 600 or 700 calory meal and at my age and activity level 600 or 700 calories are just too much. This is so easy -- milk in the blender, I have even used milk powder, turn it on, add the powder, and presto a great drink for breakfast. I might even add peanut butter, ice, and some berries for a great smoothy.

I should have listened to the reviews. 2 of the 6 canisters were open, spilling powder everywhere. The corner of the canister also ripped the plastic, so powder was all over my other items, too. I like the product, and it's a little difficult to find the canisters near me, but I'd rather go on the hunt than have to clean that up and only get 4 for the price of 6.
