All my kitchen pans are Langostina for 30 years and I really recommend them. Love all my Langostina pans.

I remember my mom both hers when I was 6 years old, the sales man told her that those pots where built to last a lifetime! I’m 46 years old now, and now I’m using those very same pressure cookers. I literately believe the salesman now! lolIf you’re buying those pressure cooker make sure are the Lagostina brand ‘Made in Italy’ ones and not those cheap imitations ‘Made in China’.

This is a well made pressure cooker that works.Here are some things you should compare against your checklist before buying1) It cooks at a lower pressure than my previous cooker (about 2/3)This could affect cooking times, esp,things like stock which you might cook for a long time.2) It has more complex construction and operation than other cookers.After one use, I got the hang of it, but it may be intimidating initially3) The construction has a concave & slightly narrower opening lip than other cookers that have straight sides.So despite its 5L capacity, something large like a gammon joint or a whole chicken carcass might be a tighter squeeze to get itMore importantly, it's hard to pour liquid out of it without this spilling down the outside of the pot, onto the work surface etc.See photo4) The instructions appear comprehensive, but it's the usual story of multiple languages plus they cover several different models so you see stuff about controls you don't actually have. As for the recipe book, pressure cooking lettuce???!

The reliability of this pressure cooker, the quality and eco friendliness of material from which it is made and not forgetting performance puts it at the top of all pressure cookers for me. It has no fancy gadgetry that it needs to carry out its function of cooking food to its perfect or desired state. No aluminium or plastic is used in its construction which was a very strong reason for purchase and having cooked dal and vegetables to perfection I would recommend this product to anyone.

I hadn't used a pressure cooker before. I ordered Lagostina as my mom uses it for many years and I knew the brand.Easy to use it. You don't notice it while cooking as it is noiseless. Saves time and energy when cooking.Good quality of material, food doesn't stick at the bottom of the pot pan and it is easy to clean.I put it in the dishwasher but not the lid.

This is a a excellent item and certainly worth the exra money in value, looks very durable and 3 months on no issues and very pleased with purchase.

If you are looking for a pressure cooker, Lagostina is just the best!

This is such a well made product. I've not tried a different pressure cooker, so my basis for comparison is limited, but this is great.

So easy to use and food is cooked to perfection in record time.I've been using it non stop to make baby food as it steams veg perfectly while saving most of the nutrients.

Bien que la qualité générale Lagostina de cet article soit excellente, il y a un problème avec les poignées clip.Une des deux poignées est très dure à enlever tandis que l'autre est beaucoup trop facile à enlever, elle s'enlève toute seule lors de simple manipulation de l'autocuiseur. Il semble que ce problème ne soit pas isolé car un ami a acheté le même produit et il a le même problème

Ho ricevuto una prima pentola e ho riscontrato due problemi, la pentola non andava in pressione e una maniglia era difettosa. Ho contattato il venditore (molto gentile) e ho richiesto la sostituzione e mi è arrivata la seconda pentola stesso problema è questa volta però entrambe le maniglie erano difettose. Ho contattato il supporto Lagostina e mi hanno confermato che si trattava di un difetto. Ho contattato nuovamente il venditore, purtroppo ho ricevuto la sua risposta (in cui mi comunicava che si sarebbe occupato del ritiro a sue spese) dopo aver spedito a mie spese la pentola per ottenere il reso, un gran peccato...

Purtroppo debbo fare una recensione negativa in quanto la pentola non funziona bene. La valvola di sicurezza tira fuori tutto il vapore e la cottura dei cibi é molto prolungata.Sono abituata a tempi di cottura molto più brevi rispetto a quanto devo dare con questa pentola. Penso che sia un DIFETTO DI FABBRICA in quanto non trattiene affatto, dopo lo spegnimento del gas, il vapore bensì la valvola che si alza scende immediatamente dopo lo spegnimento del GAS. Vi sarei grati se poteste risolvermi il problema con un cambio.Cordiali salutiSilvana Colantoni

I really liked the construction and materials of this pressure cooker, but there was no point me keeping it; it's TINY. There is no way this holds 5L! Even for two people, it's too small for my needs. I returned it, so I don't know how well it works in action.

Je ne veux plus acheter cette marque la qualité n'est plus là.Légèreté,soupape de sécurité très fragile n'assure plus sa fonction malgré une utilisation peu fréquente, à changer à condition de retrouver le bon modèle!!!!!!!!!!Vraiment très décue car les deux autres n'avaient jamais eu de problème.J'ai 70 ans mais cette Lagostina n'ira pas bien loin si il faut lui changer les pièces régulièrement.Merci à la marque pour les années passées avec les 2 autres car je pense que celle-ci aura un trou au fond vu sa faible épaisseur.
