I bought another brand of L-Glutamine tablets and I wasnt that happy with them because they were 500mg tablets and I had to take lots of them to get the dose I wanted. The other choice are those huge 1000mg pills, which can be difficult to swallow. But then, I found these 750mg capsules from Jarrow. They are right in the middle - not too big and not too small. I think its a perfect size.Another benefit is that these are capsules - not tablets. I always have found capsules easier to swallow. They also have less binders then tablets and no artificial ingredients unlike the Source Naturals tablets which contain sorbitol and many more random ingredients. Since some people take several grams per dose, several times per day, those binders really can add up. This product is a nice simple gelatin capsule.These capsules consist of:L-Glutamine 750mgOther ingredients: Cellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and silicon dioxide. Capsule consists of gelatin.If you are confident you are able to swallow the larger 1000mg capsules, I believe Jarrow offers it in that size as well. If you are looking for something to mix in drinks or food, it also comes in a powder. I find the pills to be the most convenient. You are also getting a better value when you factor in the higher dosage compared to the smaller 500mg pills.

No after taste. Works as intended

I started taking 1500 mg in the morning on an empty stomach on the advice of my naturopath for stomach and heartburn issues. I also get have from eating foods like strawberries, wine and tomatoes. I also take 2 oz of George's Aloe in the morning and evening.Since starting this regime my stomach issues have improved greatly. Because I'm also taking the aloe I can't give all the credit to the l-glutamine but I'm not going to change a thing because I am feeling so much better.

Excellent supplement for muscles and intestine lining.

I have been taking this for about 3 years now. I got it because I had a lot of stomach issues and I read this was supposed to help calm your intestines down. It has helped me a lot. I was diagnosed with celiac 3 years ago and there has been a lot of healing that needed to be done on my insides and this has helped with cramps and discomfort. I will keep taking this for a long time to keep my intestines healthy. I also have had several bouts of C-dif and this has helped recover from those too.

Good price and quality. I'm taking this for IBS there's been studies that show l-Glutamine helps reduce intestinal inflammation. We shall see. It is Vegetarian / vegan If you're into that lifestyle. One day delivery eith prime, thank you Amazon.

The pills are convenient, however I am going to be switching to the powder version instead as it is 100% glutamine powder. The capsules contain cellulose which is not approved for my diet.
