I have been using this brand's raspberry shampoo for a long time , thought I'd give this type a try too. It is very good.Rich lather, smells great.... and no little "bumps" along the back of my hairline like some cheaper shampoos seem to cause. My hair came out nice and soft looking too.The ingredients are far superior to most shampoos and still reasonably priced. No way am I spending more than $20 for a bottle of any shampoo!

This shampoo takes me back to days on the beach. I love the coconut smell and the way it makes my hair feel. It also gives it a nice shine.

I recently purchased the Desert Essence Coconut Body Wash, Coconut Shampoo and Coconut Conditioner on Amazon.com. My husband and I have used other Desert Essence products before and loved them (Tea Tree Blemish Stick- amazing on insect bites and Tea Tree Deodorant which works as well as any deodorant/anti-perspirant with loads of nasty chemicals in it) We have been big fans of coconut-smelling products for a while but I have often shied away, as a lot of them smell very sickly sweet. No one wants to end up smelling like a cupcake or a pina colada!Not so with these! We love love love all three and the smell is subtle and not sweet or overpowering. I have long hair and wash it nearly every day (terrible I know) and the shampoo and conditioner keeps my mane glossy and hydrated. I get little hints of coconut now and then throughout the day but I like that- I live in NYC and having clean smelling hair by the end of the day can be tricky.The body wash has a nice consistency and my husband loves using it. He works on construction sites in all weathers and it doesn't irritate or dry out his skin.Nice packaging- you absolutely get your money's worth with 8fl oz. and as I said, we use them nearly every day and a little goes a long way. When I purchased all three they each had a slightly different label so there as been no confusion during those early morning, bleary-eyed showers!The MASSIVE plus for me with these products is that in addition to using sustainable, organic ingredients, neither the finished product NOR the raw ingredients are tested on animals or contain animal by-products. They are vegan. They are also gluten free and have no nasties (phosphates etc) in them. Plus it is a small American company...let's support them!Highly Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. It smells great I loved the smell so much it's moisturizing it doesn't make your hair heavy I ended up buying all three(the shampoo conditioner and body wash)

Great product, I've been using it for quite some time, and I am very satisfied with it. My hair is clean with just one washing. Not a lot of shine, but there is some. I do recommend to someone else. Looking for a natural shampoo. JS

This is our favorite shampoo. It cleans our hair better than other brands, don't need much product either. Nice light fragrance and we appreciate it being a natural product rather than a bunch of chemicals.

I have had an excellent experience with this shampoo! My hair was extremely dry— so I switched to this natural nourishing coconut shampoo to see if it would make a difference. The results have been excellent. It imparts enough moisture to leave my fine, straight hair soft—without weighing it down. Plus—it smells divine! And added benefits are: ZERO parabens, phthalates, colorants, silicone, EDTA, propylene glycol, petroleum products phosphate—AND it is Vegan and cruelty-free. Win-win! I love it and will keep using it.

Works fine. Cleans my hair so that’s a win. Smells good.
