Die Figuren kommen gut verpackt an. Mit dabei sind mehr als genug ( selbstklebende) Filzplättchen, die man selbst an der Unterseite anbringen kann. Wir haben für einen Tisch mit eingelassenem Schachbrett passende Figuren gesucht, die so gut aussehen, dass man sie gerne dauerhaft stehen lässt. Dafür sind diese Schachfiguren definitiv geeignet. Sie sind schwer und stabil, liegen gut in der Hand und halten auch mal ein Umfallen locker aus. Seitdem wird fast täglich Schach gespielt.

Super happy with these relatively big chess pieces. Each piece is made from an artistic and tasteful design that you will not find elsewhere but still retains a classic chess set appearance in general. Each piece is carefully produced and finished giving it a very pleasant feel in the hand, attractive to the eye. The actual set received is very beautiful in color and other aspects. The pieces are significantly nicer looking than the advertising led me to expect. The beauty of the pieces graces the 22” by 22” chess board I made by hand from pressure treated deck boards, sanded and stained with cedar PPG transparent stain. I use a vinyl portable roll up playing surface grid that lays flat upon the board. I chose not to use the felt bases because my experimentation revealed that the players are much more stable and unlikely to fall over if the felt bases are omitted. The players stand in a more stable manner without the felt bases.
