I think this is a decent collar. I've seen better, I've seen worse. I do think the buckle is very strong which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you want out of one of these. If you're dog is bad at unbuckling collars on walks or such, this would probably be a good one to get, but if you want a collar that can unbuckle under a lot of pull for safety if the dog gets hung somewhere, this would be a horrible pick. This buckle isn't coming open unless you really push it in with your fingers. If the dog were to get snagged somewhere, say in a pen or fence, it's not going anywhere. The nylon is pretty good quality. The leash that came with it is nice, but the only complaint is the width is smaller than I'd want a leash for a larger dog. It's great if you have a smaller breed, but I like wider leashes with bigger breeds. All in all, I think it's a fair price for what you get. I don't see a lot of gradient colored collars either, so that's a plus.

This is our second set of leash/collar combo from this company. Our quickly growing puppy outgrew the other set. We love the pattern as well as the way the collar fits. The clasp works well too. I take it off our puppy each time I brush her and it remains sturdy. She’s not going to outgrow this one anytime soon, but we will definitely purchase another collar/leash combo as this one is long lasting and durable.

I recommend this product if your dog's neck will be much closer to the maximum than the minimum dimension.The product is good / as described / adjustable but you should note that the material is rather stiff (even after weeks of wearing) so that for dogs with neck sizes where you'll need to make the length short (overlapping), it creates a bump by the adjustment "buckle".We tend to keep the same collars for 2+ years but I'm already thinking about a new one after only a month or so.

My cat loves wearing a collar, but keeps having the safety release style collars pop off. This one stays securely snapped in place and looks great too

HE CAME WITH A HARNESS. WHICH EVEN AFTER GETTING A SMALLER ONE THAT FIT HIM SNUGGLY, HE COULD SLIP OUT OF AND RUN OFF.WE WOULDNT DO THE CHOKE COLLAR ROUTE WITH HIM. (HE WAS TERRIFIED OF THE HARNESS AND LEASH AS WAS NEVER OUT OF HIS CAGE.)SO I SAW THESE COLLAR AND LEASH COMBOS AND DECIDED TO TRY A REGULAR COLLAR.WORKS GREAT HE HASN'T BEEN ABLE TO SLIP THAT AND RUN OFF - AND HAS LEARNED TO LOVE, LOVE, LOVE GOING FOR A WALK.

I've bought other collars and leashes like thus before. It's very cute and brightly coloured, but easily collects dirt, and if you hand wash it too often, it will begin to fray. The same goes for use over time. The leash will last longer and won't collect dirt near as fast as the collar as long as you hang it up and don't let it drag when you walk your dog. My dog loves to roll in the grass in our back yard, and even just doing that, the collar collects surface dirt.If you want an attractive collar and/or leash and you change them out with others frequently, go for it. Again, they are bright, and they are pretty, but won't last long without wearing along the edges.
