First off the price is amazing. I had a tall palm with a frond over the roof I wanted to cut of for our hurricane season. Looked at the chain saw blade high top cutters but did not want to spend that much for single purpose.While searching saw this and figured what the heck at the price I would not be out much if did not work. W hen arrived I was suprised at the quality and sturdiness.Seems to be all stainless steel. I attached about 30 feet of line to each pull ring and using a 5lb ankel weit bag tossed up over the limb I wanted to cut and done. Worked great for me .

Novelty,very nice wire saw.I try it cut the plastic and little breach, it works well, the blade is sharp.Good for the price.Love it.

Purchased this for my Get Home Bag and Bug Out Bag. I live in CA so this is just something to have in case there are downed trees on my path home after an earthquake or disaster. Haven't tested them yet, but will soon.

Anyone looking for a one or two use wire wood saw to throw in their emergency kit or hiking/backpacking stash will find these are great for that purpose. It will cut through a few 4" limbs, then likely break through metal fatigue of the wire. It is not made for extended or heavy duty use

Broke in the first minute using it. Handle popped right off of the sawing line.

Should come in handy where a regular saw won't do, rings will make sure won't slip; wished they'd have come with a pouch, looking for one, one I bought, a little too large, even for two. Otherwise, should cut well.

I had the idea (from a video I saw) of putting this on a rope over a high branch I couldn't reach, as a way to take down a large dead branch way up on a tree. Two good cuts in, and the darn thing stuck tight. It's still there, and won't budge, along with half the rope (eventually one end broke).
