Know what you're getting, and enjoy the focus-free advantages! What are they?
This is a binocular that does not allow a user to see anything within 75 feet/25 yards. Period. So, if you are birdwatching on your feeder, you do not want these. If you are watching football from the upper deck, you do want these.I wear progressive eyeglasses that are weak power, but I can still easily use these binoculars without my eyeglasses. If you have significant differences between right and left eyes, then these may or may not work for you; there is no diopter focus on one eye; I would likely avoid them if your eyes are significantly different. The glass quality is good, and a 8x power with 32mm objectives are wonderful size to keep the package small. Like any binoculars, 32mm is great for daytime use or looking at bright objects (eg a concert stage), but is not ideal for looking into the dusk or dark (eg using at night, in dark wooded areas, etc). The item comes with a nice strap, and a nylon case that works well. It does not come with objective or eyepiece lens covers, which I do not mind on a pair of binos in the price range less than that of many sunglasses. Not fussing with lens covers on cheap binoculars means using them more. What are the advantages of focus-free binoculars:Price: They are less expensive than equal quality focusing binoculars.Toughness: They can take a knock or drop much better than manual focus-type binos. There is much less chance for collimation issues. There is no focus knob to get stuck, sandy, gritty, or to outright fail.Multiple Users: Simply hand them to anyone, and they can see instantly. There is no need for focusing (beyond 75 feet, that is). They are particularly wonderful for use with children.Light transmission: A non-moveable internal prism system transmits more light than equal quality and size lenses that have manual focusing. It has to do with refraction physics, and I do not know if it's noticeable in Tasco brand as i do not own Tasco focusing binoculars.Fast-moving sports: It's exasperating to focus on car racing, as an example, when the cars are moving fast and changing distance from you rapidly; it's nearly impossible to focus as the car is moving toward or away from you. These focus-free binoculars, conversely, rely on your eyes to focus, precisely as you would naturally as you watch a race car move toward you or away from you with a naked eye. Focus-free works better than manual focus binos in this setting...that is, objects coming toward or moving away from you.I own about 15 pairs of binoculars, ranging from $2500 Zeiss HT Victory to $50 Carsons. I enjoy binoculars and took a chance to try focus-free binos. Impressive, as long as one understands the purpose. For looking at animals at the zoo, or people on the beach, I would use an adjustable focus pair. For distant high-speed action sports, for seats far from stage at outdoor concert, or for looking across a lake, I would use these. For sharing with others, especially passing amongst kids, these are ideal. These are great for outfield or upper deck baseball as they are inexpensive if someone steals them, they focus fine on the entire ball field, and if you drop them they're unlikely to be damaged. A sweet buy at this price.

Good fixed-focus binoculars
I compared these to the other fixed-focus binoculars in this price range (Go-Focus). These are better. While this Tasco 8x32 is larger than the Go-Focus (supposedly 10 X25), you can clearer further away. I hope this roof prism design is more resistant to falls than the Porro-prism design of the Go-Focus.These Tasco fixed-focus binoculars are easier to use for my kids than my Steiner Safari 10x26.

Good Quality
For comparison, I purchased this brand of self-focusing binoculars along with a pair of self-focusing Bushnell Sport. I really liked both brands. Both pair were so similar in weight, quality and clarity however I ended up keeping the Bushnell because I liked the neck strap.

No lens covers. Shame!
Product arrived on time & as described. Just wish if Tasco lays claim to these being quality binoculars that they’d prove this by providing a set (4 total) lens covers as other brands do for their quality binoculars. These would help protect the lenses & ensure a longer life for binoculars. And likely increase sales!

AIM & ENJOY WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT
Focus free is the way to go. You pike these up, aim, and clear, focused picture comes into play with no effort. Just the right size in weight and use too. Additional plus? The price! Take with you or have within reach at home or car. Amazing product.

Auto focus, starting at 25 yards!!
I asked what is the closest focus with these binoculars. I got one answer: didn't know. I wrote to Bushnell (parent company) asked the same question, never have got an answer. I need these to start focus approximately at 8-9 yards, or 24-27 feet. These would not come in clear until 75 feet or 25 yards! Not gonna work for watching birds in the back yard. Going to try and send them back.
