I liked the sound of the Sony 1000xm4 and bought them but found them uncomfortable , saw the new earbuds with 1000xm5. and then tried and bought them , and these sound brilliant and are comfortable . So I searched around and found these buds and replaced the standard buds on the 1000xm4 with these and they are comfortable a snug fit and easy to put in whereas the normal ones were awkward or hard to put in and to be honest hurt ....and now with these the 1000xm4 also sound brilliant too ....... and I wear them so much more. (I looked for Sony xm5 earbuds to put on xm4 but couldn't find to put on). I don't really comment on noise cancelling because these Sony buds are both terrible compared (although these fit me better) with the Bose quiet comfort 1 or 2 buds, but with no background noise the sound on these Sony buds is so much better than Bose, its horses for courses. I wear Bose on public transport, these when not. So for me Its money well spent

The original foam tips that came with my Sony earbuds deteriorated pretty quick, but even new they hurt my ears after long use. It was also difficult to get a good seal, but these have solved all of those problems. Time will tell how well they hold up, but they seem to be well made, and dont detract from the sound quality. At this price, it's hard to beat

This is honestly better than what the stock buds were and I am so glad I actually got rid of them and used these instead. I have had them for a while and I still use them and they are not scratched or anything.
