You quickly forget this is there as it fits nicely onto the camera and it does the job perfectly.

The brass is good and hard, so it won't easily strip or break like aluminum might, and the paint is perfectly smooth and looks great. I greatly prefer the convex shape. One suggestion... the rubber o-rings really don't do much good, but I put a little bit of blue Loctite on the threads and the buttons are totally secure and have not come loose in over a year of hard use. Just use blue (removable) Loctite, not the red (permanant) stuff, if you think you might want to remove the button in the future.

I got a new Fuji X-T5, and "needed" a new shutter button. Fujis usually work with the little round gasket that makes the button sit tight, but with the gasket the other brands wouldn't screw in no matter how hard I tried (and I tried hard). I actually lost my first button from B&H because it lacked the doughnut gaskets and it disappeared somewhere during my first time taking this camera out. These JJC buttons look identical but I was able to get the button screwed in with the gasket and it seems locked in place. They don't really actually DO anything, but I like tiger feel of the little concave one and it definitely looks cool.

I have a similar product to this on another camera from the same manufacture and I really like the look and feel of it. I decided to get this one in all black since it fits the look and finish of the camera. I am glad that the package came with 2 different styles of buttons cause as it turned out I prefer the feel of the convex button over the concave one. The fit and finish of these screw in buttons is very nice, once installed they seem to blend right in with all the controls of the camera and don't stand out. On this camera Fuji X-E3 it really seems to help with using the camera as the shutter button feels a litter low from the factory and this makes it easy to get back on track with out having to take your eye off the shot.

Nice fit. One cannot expect anything better at this price. Gave my PEN-F a unique look.

One was used on my X100f the other was used on my X-T30. Both seem to be holding up well and doing their job. I find the handiest feature was unexpected in that if I hand my camera to someone they instinctively know its the big red button to take the picture even if they have no other knowledge of the cameras.

I have two versions of these but my favorite one is the red concave one. It feels really satisfying when your finger just fits on it. The fitment is really good actually, I don’t understand how some people lose these things. It doesn’t seem to want to move at all when it’s all the way screwed in. A must have accessory for all Fujifilm cameras for sure.

These appeared to be made well and it felt good once attached, but it fell off while I was traveling, so I'm glad I have a second on for when I get home.

The product was shipped fast. I placed an order on Sunday and it was delivered on Tuesday by Purolator. The colour that I chose is dark red.Pros: Easy to install. Fits well on my Canon FTb and Nikon FE2 cameras. Rubber O-rings are included. The button’s colour looks nice on my camera.Cons: Made of plastic. A bit smaller than I expected (even though I measured my soft release button before placing order). I’d go with 11mm or 12mm sizes next time.In sum, the product somewhat meets my overall expectations.
