Good replacement for my 2007 Citroen C3 key, of which the plastic housing broke. Transplanting the old key blade into the new key was a bit fiddly but it worked. You don't punch out the little pin as some others have said, you replace the whole blade. Followed a guide on youtube, look for "How to rebuild a Peugeot / Citroen Key fob". I did have to omit the circular metal bushing when putting it back together as I could not get it to fit in my old key blade, but it didn't impact the function.

Had a couple of these from different suppliers, very nice for a couple of months then the button areas start to soften and bubble.

I went to a key place and was quoted £60 pounds. Bought this and did it myself. Its easy to do however you. I would suggest buying key blade tools at the same time. I went through 3 of these trying to take the pin out and snaping it before i worked that out. Good value for money. Just remove the pin on the side of the key. Pull the fake key out put yours in and replace the pin. Then after open the key and put your immobiliser and battery in. Not sure how to program the central locking yet but don't think that has anything to do with the key itself.

I bought this because the plastic part of my old key fob fell apart (but the metal key part was still intact). I transferred the old metal part to the new fob, and this proved fiddly but did work. If instead you intend to "cut" the blank metal part of the new key, you would avoid the need for this stage. This looks the same as my old key and it was easy to open, then transfer the circuit board and put in battery. Transferring the actual metal sticking out part requires removing a tiny metal pin with a hammer and nail, then replacing it. (Find a YouTube video)

Der Ersatzschlüssel funktioniert einwandfrei. Der Umbau des Schlüssels selbst ist ein wenig tricky, da der Schlüssel mit einem kleinen Stift in der Klapphalterung gehalten wird. Der Ersatz fällt nach kurzer Zeit wieder raus. Ich habe den Schlüssel mit Sekundenkleber eingepappt - hält wunderbar.

Schnell und einfach.

Leider stand nirgends geschrieben, für welche Baujahre dieses Gehäuse passt. Baujahr 2012 jedenfalls nicht. Zudem sehr schlechte Qualität - gleich beim Öffnen des Schlüssels ist ein Plastikteil gebrochen.

Paßt erstaunlich gut, nur den Original Schlüssel hineinfummeln ist schon knifflig!
