Gold's Gym 300 lb Olympic Barbell Weight Set

I didn't get the exact combination of weight plates that I was supposed to get, but the total weight was approximately correct, and it was still a great value for this amount of weight plates and barbell, so overall I'm happy with the purchase.What I expected (based on the description on Amazon's product page): two 45 lb plates, four 25 lb plates, four 10 lb plates, six 5 lb plates, a 7' Olympic Bar, and spring collars. (Total of 260 lbs of weight plates, plus 45 lb bar.)What I actually got: two 45 lb plates, two 35 lb plates, two 25 lb plates, two 10 lb plates, four 5 lb plates, two 2.5 lb plates, a 7' Olympic Bar, and spring collars. (Total of 255 lbs of weight plates, plus 45 lb bar.)All of this came in 5 shipments over the course of 5 days (1 box for the barbell, and 4 boxes for all of the weight plates). Everything I received appeared to be brand new.

The bar was rusted badly. One end will not rotate, and the other rotates but has about a half inch of sideways play.Beyond that, the first delivery was missing the two 45 pound plates, and they expected me to find a way to box up what I had and return it to them (the original boxes were falling apart as it was, and little was left of them after opening), which means I'd have had to invest time, labor, and more money in order to get what I paid for. Fortunately, the plates showed up two days later, but I assume any issues you might have with this set will require a full return.I suppose the set may still be worth the gamble to you at this low price, but I recommend doing your best to keep the boxes intact until you know you've received everything and it's all satisfactory.

These weights are great. It's a perfect beginner to mid set of weights. Only downside is I can't find matching 2.5lb weights with 2" bar openings. It's all the weight I need to start out and I can get additional matching plates at Walmart once I am lifting 300+ lbs.

The price is great for the plates alone, but the bar too.The bar does have a bow in it already, but IDGAF, I can still move it up and down just fine.

This is really good for the price. Arrived a week earlier than expected and came with a 45 lb 7 ft bar, and assorted weights to fit the 2 inch sleeves of the bar. Great product.

Picture on Amazon shows Gold Gym weights, so I ordered them to match set we already had. What was shipped to me we're completely different and NOT Gold Gym weights. I attached a photo. Weight on left is what was shipped, weight on the right is what I expected to receive since that is what I got last year when I ordered the weights.

Didn't receive my full 300lb set just 210lb i'm missing 90lb. The package came with 2-45lb plates,2-35lb plates,2-25lb plates with barbell thats not 300lb that i purchased and paid for in full and nobody has gotten back to me since friday. I would like the rest of my set i paid for 300lb olympic weights thank you
