Excellent quality beef gelatin. It dissolves well, has no strong taste, and works great for cooking and baking. The large size is a good value for the price. I would buy it again.

This beef gelatin powder works wonderfully as a natural thickening and gelling agent. It dissolves smoothly in warm liquids and sets firmly without clumps or residue. I like that it’s unflavored, so it blends easily into both sweet and savory recipes, great for gummies, desserts, or homemade broths. It’s also a good source of protein and adds a nice boost to smoothies or coffee. The one-pound bag lasts a long time and stays fresh if stored properly. A dependable, high-quality gelatin that performs consistently in all kinds of recipes.

I bought this as a nutritional suppement for my cats. One of them came to me as a former stray with a long-standing Tritrichomonas infestation; he had lost a lot tof weight, and failed to regain it many months after the the Tritrichomonas was dealt with. When nothing else my vet recommended worked to put weight on him, I decided I was willing to try any promising home/alternative remedy that was 1) easy and inexpensive to obtain; 2) easy to administer, and 3) posed no risk to the cat (even if it failed to help). I was also willing to give it a minimum of 90 days to show some sort of effect--I knew it would take time, and wasn't looking for overnight results. I started dosing him on August 7, and as of today (September 29), I can report that the cat has gained a small but significant amount of weight, his coat condition has improved, and he's more energetic than he was before. Unfortunately, I didn't think to weigh him at the start of this experiment, but he definitely feels less bony when I pet him. He is still very underweight, but it's been less than two months since we started, and for the first time I feel like we're getting somewhere! While I was at it, I decided to give gelatin to the rest of the resident feline horde to see if it made any difference for them. So far, the most dramatic difference has been in a tough-guy ex-tomcat whose coat was always dull; it is now soft and shiny. I've also seen some coat improvements in the other cats. Since gelatin is known to be a useful joint supplement, I imagine I'll just keep using it. It's easy to administer--for each cat, I mix 1/2 t. powder in 3/4 can of wet food, and add a little bit of warm water to loosen it up. They get fed this twice a day, and that's all there is to it. (I have no recommendations for how to use it with dry food, however, as I don't feed my cats kibble.) I have ten cats (yeah, I know), and it looks like a 4-lb jar is going to last me about 90 days. I've only consumed a little of it myself, but I'm very happy with the quality of this product--it has no unpleasant odors or flavors (which I've experienced with Knox in the past). It's doing what I need it to do, and the big jar is economical. I'll update if there are any major changes, but so far, so good.

I wanted a gelatin powder to help supplement my joints. Beef is best,and this brand appeared to have the best value. I wasn't disappointed, as the quality is very good, too. Now the problem is, at the time of this writing, its not available! Maybe in the future. Lol.

I really like this unflavored gelatin. I mix it into hot drinks and there is little or no taste. Gelatin can help with hair and nail strength. This gelatin can also be used in your favorite recipes .

I have been buying the NOW beef gelatin powder for years. It’s a great product. The beef flavor does not come through in my food so I can use this in desserts no problem. I highly recommend it.

awesome for homemade jello! tastes great, and has lots of protein! fun for the whole family!

The gelatin powder works great for making healthy gummy bears, only gelatin, juice, and a little honey,I added one extra teaspoon of gelatin powder to make them firm and refrigerated them for 24 hr. They were flavorful and were perfect in texture, I used ice cube trays and filled each with little less than half full.

Works as described.
