Very cool product for access control or IT professionals.
Imaging walking up to your or your clients door that everyone is grabbing a key fob or keycard to gain access while you just give the reader a fist bump. Sizing is near perfect, maybe a shy small, or my measurement.Be sure to get a duplication device and enjoy the convenience. Married to your job? Now you are!

Slightly better looking than their other ring but also slightly wonkier, and glossy, not matte
I used this ring to copy my key fob using their included copier from a separate bundle and it worked. I generally prefer the wider band and flat edges of this ring over their other similar ring from the bundle. However, the pictures led me to believe the main surface on this ring would be matte with the edges being glossy, and this is not the case--like their other black RFID ring, it is glossy all around, with just a slightly lighter tone on the edges and inside of the band. I would have greatly preferred a more metallic material, provided it still works, or at least the matte finish seen in the pictures. The flat edges are definitely slightly less comfortable than the rounded version, unfortunately.Another drawback of this ring compared to their other one is it doesn't interface with their copier quite as well. The copier wouldn't light up green or make the beep to let me know that it worked when copying the key fob to this ring, and honestly I thought it wasn't working until I tried the ring on the door.

Highly orientation-dependent, no orientation marks.
First off, this ring works pretty okay. It has low frequency RFID and high-frequency RFID (NFC) sections, and the NFC section can have its UID rewritten with the Mifare Classic Tools android app, so you can fully clone an existing card rather than having to reprogram the reader to accept this as a new one.The problem is, one side of the ring is one protocol, the other side is the other protocol...and there's not the least distinguishing mark on the ring to show which side is which, or to indicate the optimal angle to present to the card reader for a solid read. Without any modifications, it's entirely up to luck whether you'll have the ring in the proper orientation when you try to use it.I used a small file to scuff up the face of the ring that I found to work for the NFC reader in my apartment, but it's simultaneously an annoying blemish and too subtle to easily notice at arm's length. Just an overall hassle.

Worth every penny
Working great wish it had a marking on it to know what side is up

RFID works, but at a really short range
If you had asked me what I thought when I first got it, I wouldve given it 5 stars. The rfid and nfc chips worked exactly as advertised, with the range being limited but that was to be expected. However the nfc chip has stopped working after about a month of use. I'm not entirely sure why only the nfc stopped working, but that's the reason why I've given this 3 stars

Extremely limited range
You have to be within 6mm of a sensor for this to be detected, and then only if the ring is rotated exactly the right way with maybe +/- 10 degrees of room. Not very useful.

LF 125khz T5577 side ok, HF 13.56mhz CUID side not so good
So far, this ring has not lived up to all of its claims. The 125khz T5577 part of the ring so far has been pretty good, reading at almost any direction at an average of 2-3cm on most standard commercial door readers. Now for the 13.56mhz part, this has been a real disappointment. It has been very directional and only responds at a very specific spot. Reading the UID has a more forgiving range of maybe +/- 15 degrees but in order to reliably read any of the other blocks, you have to be spot on with the angle. The only good part is that block 0 is writable so the UID can be changed. If you don't need the dual frequency capabilities, stick with HECERE brand rings as their single frequency rings have all been perfect. The HECERE dual frequency ring was not available at the time I purchased this so I can't compare that one yet.
