Smooth, Unbelievably Light, Incredible Value
These pedals are well made with very smooth easy spinning bearings and weigh in at an incredible 330 grams for the pair which is exceptional at this price. The grip with the 9 pins per pedal side means you never slide your foot. Realize there are $180 pedals that are heavier than these pedals so imagine how unenlightened you have to be to buy these other crazy expensive pedals that don't deliver in lightness when MZYRH is available. Forget Wolf, Deity, Raceface, Crank Brothers, Chromag, Specialized, and HT. They are ripping you off. If you want a lighter pedal, then at least the magnesium Xpedo SPRY pedal weighs in at 260 grams and is OK priced at $81 so really the only other option if you want value for your pedal choice. Maybe if you hit rocks on every MTB ride you might need something more indestructible but you know who you are.

Wish I Could Give Them 10 Stars
I only write Amazon reviews on products that are either exceptionally awful or exceptionally good. These pedals are awesome!I am a 69 year old rider who has ridden for about 50+ years and ride about 1000 miles a year on my Specialized hybrid.I have tried every kind of pedal; "clipless" (Never understood that, since you clip in and out of them), toe straps, standard pedals, etc. I don't like my feet being bound to the pedal because more than once I've hit gravel or grease and slipped out without time to unclip. These are perfect for me; they grip the bottom of my tennis shoes great and they are beautifully made. Very high precision quality, super easy to install (maybe 5 minutes TOTAL), and I like the tasteful "bling" the brilliant blue adds to my otherwise pretty stock bike.Would buy another pair in a heartbeat if I needed them.

Grips your shoes
I like to look of these bike petals allot. They hold your shoes to the petals with shape tips that grip the soles so no slipping while riding, they are light weight and professional riding material, the reflectors are well seen when pedaling.Very reasonable price.

They are great. Aftermarket bike shop quality.
These are quality pedals. Most of the 'cheap' bike parts available online are far worse than original. Many are so shoddily manufactured that they are a safety hazard. However, these pedals are not only better than the junk plastic pedals that come on new low/mid bikes, they're comparable to full priced aftermarket components you can find in a bike shop. This is a nice find after having to return some junk grips and toss a junk stem shaped piece of metal.I'd prefer they weren't branded at all, but that will likely be removable with a heat gun and a plastic scraper.

Grippy and good looking but might shred shins.
Great pedal but beware the grip screws. They will shed your shins. I bought these as a replacement for standard pedals on a street bike for recreational use and there's probably better choices for that use.

Mind-bogglingly good for the money.
Smoothest bearings I have ever felt with no play. The studs grip nicely for my shoes (highly subjective). Greater foot surface means getting the power down is way easier and better feeling than the plastic pedals that came with this bike, which still come with a lot of new bikes. For $20 buckaroos, these new pedals are so good it feels unreasonable to point people elsewhere if they're on a budget. These scream quality.New bike? Replace the pedals with these, NOW.
