This is a beautiful bench. The legs have to be attached but the seat & the shelf come prebuilt. Very easy to assemble & it is so sturdy. The seat is wide enough to accommodate different sized people, very smooth bamboo, no splinters or sharp edges anywhere. The handles are great for moving it or you can hang a small towel on it & the shelf is great for shower shoes or products in or out of the shower. We are using it outside of our shower. Love it.

This item is inherently defective. Although advertised as a "shower bench," after less than a year of use, it's gotten moldy and discolored, and it's been in an outdoor shower that is COVERED, so it's not gotten rained upon and has had plenty of ventilation. The finish has bubbled and peeled, and thereafter the wood started to get black from mold growth in the areas where the finish had come off. More and more areas now have peeling finish. I'm going to have it refinished, which is obviously a cost that I should not have to bear for a "waterproof" bench.Note that the page has illustrations of the bench actually inside a shower stall but then the proverbial fine print states in part: "Careful maintainace (sic): It should be kept ventilated and dry after daily use to prolong its life." Who does that - dry after each use something that sits in the shower? Do NOT buy this item unless you're prepared to wipe it down after each use.

This bench was so easy to put together. It is sturdy, matches the description and the perfect width and height. We finally found a comfortable stool for my husband to take off and store his work boots right as he comes into the laundry room. We like it so much will be getting a second one to use at my bathroom vanity.

This is a sturdy and nice looking bath bench. It had several aggravating issues with assembly. Watch out for sharp barbs at the shelf cutouts on the legs! The splinters were extremely sharp. The sticker on the bottom of the seat warning to tighten the screws to 80% then complete tightening at the end is a pain to peel off. It shows from the top so it cannot be left on there. The barrel shaped bolts for the shelf screws were not well engineered. The slot on the visible side does not line up with the threads and the holes drilled in the bottom of the shelf were not consistent. Two were too deep, one was not deep enough, and one was just right. This step of assembly was difficult and frustrating.Once the unit is assembled, it is a nice looking unit and feels very sturdy. It was about half the price of similar looking items. I would recommend it but warn that the shelf assembly may take several tries to get it to line up.

This bench appears to be very good quality. It looks great! Assembly was simple and quick.

Great Bathroom Stool. We use it in the bathroom as a place to dress and prepare for the day. It took 30 minutes to assemble. Fits together well. This should hold up well in a dry environment. I wouldn't use as a shower bench. It's not waterproof. We bought a different stoll for the shower. That stool is made of a composite material. It's held up very well. Highly recommend if your looking for stool in a dry area.

I was very excited about this product on the front end. It was super easy to assemble and well designed. However, the product quickly grew mold and the finish began to flake off. It quickly made its way to the recycling bin. Pretty disappointed overall. I would not purchase this again unless I was going to use it outside of the shower. Did not hold up in water at all.
