Using this detector for snorkeling in a rather shallow river, perfect for floating and detecting underwater, haven’t used it scuba diving though. works well, haven’t hit anything amazing yet but definitely works! Found a lot of junk! Also love that it’s rechargable, I haven’t drained the battery dry yet but I used it on and off for about 2 hrs and no issues, saved me money on batteries, the lid uses an O ring to help seal and it comes with a backup, it says they recommend new O rings every year, but I recommend ordering some backups, they are cheap, and not take the risk of waiting a year. There is also a little bit of room inside the recharge chamber for something small, I stuff a ripped rag in there just In case it leaks a little I’d hope that it soaks it up before damaging. I would buy this again

The one time I got it to turn on, it detected metal for 5 minutes. Every other time? You never knew what was going to happen. Sometimes it would just beep and buzz. Sometimes nothing would happen. Sometimes the buttons would do things, sometimes they wouldn't do anything. The "fix a constant buzz/beep" solution in another review only worked once and the fix didn't last long. Finally, the last time we tried turning it on, it wouldn't turn off. We had to suffer through hours of buzzing and beeping until the battery finally died as no combination of butting pressing or holding would do anything. Complete and utter waste of money.

Awesome little wand I use it in 10-20 feet diving to search for Spanish coins. Easy to operate, sturdy and the one piece design reduces chance of leaking.

Took me an hour of messing with it to figure it out. the manual, 2 button control, buzzer, beeping, and flashing lights are not intuitive at all. After it turns on after holding off for 10 seconds or so let it beep for up to 20 seconds then it finally works. Pretty frustrating but perserverance and youtube comments can help. 4 stars cuz it seems well made and does work with the correct sequence of button pressing and patience

OMGosh! I did a lot of research before purchasing this. Check out the you tube videos to compare to that yellow detector. I had a blast with this in Cozumel. I didn't find anything on this trip but I enjoyed testing it. I used it only in about 5 feet of water as well as around everywhere I sat along the beach in the sand. I would scan over my engagement ring under the sand occasionally just to feel the vibration and know it was on and working and not just on beer caps. I can't wait for summer! I liked the shape of this one where I can see through those 2 spaces versus a flat bottom that you can't see under it. It was so fun and useful that I've already told friends about it.

I have used this metal detector on a few trips to the beach. Its very easy to use, it lights up and provides a beep when it detects something. I have found a lot of stuff in the ocean. Mostly bottle caps, several coins and even a gold ring. If you use it in a populated area you are going to find stuff. The gold ring I found paid for the device, so its a very good value for money if you use it. The battery is also long lasting. I was on the water for three hours and it didn't die. I really enjoy using this product, you clean up the ocean from bottle caps and you might even find a treasure.

I believe this is the best small detector, but I was already aware that you have to be lucky to get a working detector. The first one didn’t turn on after charging over night. I should have ordered 2 detectors, as one of the reviewers did, and send 1 back, but I didn’t understand it at the time I read the review. Also, I checked if there is really no customer support for this item. It’s true. No service. Not even a troubleshooting instruction, except a flyer with the well known recalibration issue. Also, it looked like the none-working detector was previously returned, put back on the shelf and shipped out again. The serial number is: 13096136. I will edit the review again after I try the detector in salt water. I’m sure it will be perfect.

This was great till it wasn't. After 3 months it went nuts and was beeping erratically, then it got really hot and then went dead. It is still under warranty, so i contacted them and they said they would send a replacement. Yey! We waited and waited. Nothing. So i email them, (they don't give out their phone number) and they say they they haven't send it yet but will send it right away. Ok, so i wait another week or 2 and STILL NOTHING!? So i email again, and they say "oops, sorry we forgot to send it" Seriously?!! Its been 1/2 the summer, waiting for this thing, uggg! It comes a week later, finally. But it is weird, it is not in a manufacturers box or anything, it is in recycled usps box, with the cap not even attached, with a piece of bubble wrap taped to the end. Really? Was this someone elses refurbished one? We were expecting a new one, but i don't think that is what they sent. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, and tried to use it, and it fizzles out less than 2 weeks later. it started beeping non stop. They told my husband to reset it, his thumbs were sore from holding down the buttons And then it wouldn't stop beeping, and wouldn't turn off any more, we had to wait till the until the battery died for it to stop. Now they want to see a video of it, but that means we have to plug it back in and hope the stupid thing doesn't explode, or best case scenario, flash and beep until it dies again. I don't recommend, and once i get my money back, we will try a different brand. Any suggestions?

Dopo averli comprati tutti questo è l'unico che è sopravvissuto dopo 30 minuti e continua a funzionare alla grande. Consigliatissimo, pratico, tante funzioni e indistruttibile.
