Great product ! Bought this for my son. Easy to install. Good looking product. Field of view is excellent and the quality of image is very good too. My only niggle of any is the removal of the cover to fit the micro SD card is difficult to remove and not self-intuitive so wax always concerned I was going to break it by removing it - the instructions should be clearer about this ! Connectivity to a mobile phone is very straightforward and provides an additional element of security. Over all, great product and works really well.

Still, for general use, the footage remains reliable. 🔋 Hardwire Kit & Smart Battery Protection I opted for the hardwire kit to keep the dash cam permanently powered, and it’s a great addition. One standout feature is the built-in voltage protection, which automatically cuts off power if it detects the car’s battery dropping below a safe level. This is an excellent safeguard against draining the car battery, especially when using parking mode. which monitors your car for up to 6 hours after switching off the engine. 🖥️ User Interface & App – Needs Improvement While the dash cam’s hardware is good, the user interface and mobile app could be more intuitive. Navigating through recorded clips isn’t as smooth as it could be, and the layout feels slightly clunky. It would benefit from a more user-friendly design with better playback controls to make reviewing footage easier. It feels like a Chinese product which has somewhat been poorly adapted to English speaking market if you know what i mean. ✅ Final Verdict The Road Angel Halo Drive Dash Cam is a high-quality and reliable option with great video performance, solid build quality, and useful features like smart battery protection. This is a simple and very effective dashcam which gives good quality videos. It has the right feature set (no unnecessary GPS), good connectivity and reasonable software app. App not especially intuitive but improves with use. My only reservation is that the camera cannot be removed without unsticking the mounting. Needs a 5v supply - use a 12v to 5v converter available on this site at low cost rather than the expensive connection kit. Pricing very good for performance.

Works but not. The connection is so old school, just with no Bluetooth and Mobile Data ( must to turn of all). Downloading videos, not working well and it is not easy. Very complicated. Always need to connect ( which is not easy as I already told) to update date and time!!!, despite the hardwired installation so the camera get always power from the battery.

It is my first time ever using a dash cam and I'm so pleased with the Halo Go. It is simple to set up and works very smoothly. You can track your journeys with ease by downloading the Road Angel Halo app. I recommend this dash cam. It is a perfect size and you can twist the camera to point in the right direction.

Road Angel bietet eine kleine kompakte Dashcam mit Klebepad. Mitgeliefert wird außerdem ein Adapter für den Zigarettenanzünder sowie ein MicroUSB-Kabel. Warum hier noch MicroUSB verbaut wird verstehe ich ehrlichgesagt nicht, andere Dashcams – teilweise sogar günstiger – setzen schon längst auf USB-C. Die Dashcam lässt sich einfach befestigen. Der Winkel kann einfach durch drehen eingestellt werden. Das Bild überblickt meine Stoßstange von beiden Scheinwerfern. Die App synchronisiert automatisch Zeit und Datum an die Dashcam und zeigt auch das Bild an. Das Bild wirkt klar und speichern auf einer MicroSD klappt super. Auch bei Dunkelheit ist das Bild klar und Kennzeichen lassen sich noch lesen. Also an sich eine gute Dashcam. Allerdings gibt’s nur 3,5 Sterne: - 0,5 Sterne werden abgezogen, da kein GPS Modul verbaut ist (andere Dashcams in dieser Preisklasse kommen mit GPS-Modul) - 1 Stern Abzug wegen MicroUSB Am Ende wird auf solide 4 Sterne aufgerundet, da keine halben Sterne vergeben werden können.

J’apprécie fortement de pouvoir régler la sensibilité du capteur me permettant d’enregistrer le moindre événement. Le temps de réaction du déclenchement de la caméra est très rapide et me permet de voir dans l’intégralité les vidéos ou photo enregistré. Le gros point positif de cette caméra c’est qu’elle enregistre même si le véhicule est éteint. Pour ce faire, il faut s’assurer que les ports USB soient bien alimentés une fois les clés retirées du contact. La consommation est de 2 Ampères / 5 Volts donc aucun risque d’impacter la batterie de la voiture. Pour récupérer les enregistrements, il faudra télécharger l’application « Road Angel Halo » sur le play store (Testé avec Android). Auf den ersten Blick macht die Road Angel Dashcam einen wertigen Eindruck. Sie ist gerade noch klein genug, dass sie nicht klobig wirkt und auch in einem neuen Auto nicht unangenehm auffällt. Die Bildqualität ist tagsüber sehr gut und bei Dunkelheit erwartungsgemäß etwas schlechter, aber noch gut genug, um trotzdem Kennzeichen erkennen zu können. Lediglich bei Dunkelheit und Regen gleichzeitig ist das Bild nur noch mäßig gut zu gebrauchen. Hier haben aber so gut wie alle Dashcams Probleme. Die Kamera bekommt ihren Strom vom Zigarettenanzünder. Das benötigte Zubehör wird mitgeliefert. Wenn man die Kamera fest an das Bordnetz anschließen möchte, muss man separates Zubehör für knapp 20 Euro kaufen. FAZIT: Gute Dashcam

La qualità video è molto buona, l'app necessaria alla gestione della videocamera è poco intuitiva, macchinosa e lenta nel scaricare i video su smartphone in wifi per non togliere la memory ad ogni download. Non ho trovato il sensore di movimento nella modalità parcheggio
