Elderly Cat
About a year ago, our fifteen year old elderly female cat started avoiding the litter box. Giving her her own box, multiplying the boxes and locations, covered and uncovered, lined or unlined, all different types of scented or unscented litters: it didn’t matter. She’ll poop in the box, but she will always pee just outside of it. No UTI or bladder issues, this is just now a habit for her and we’ve resigned to accommodating the best we can.Being that we can’t use our previous litter mats to catch what they fling and track, I’ve purchased the larger crate trays as well as the silicone mats to set a protective foundation for the litter boxes from allowing urine to seep around them or to mess with our wood flooring. Putting pee pads as the top layer under and at the entrance of their litter box has been the best and easiest clean up solution. The pad prevents spread and seepage, and we can pick it up and toss in the litter locker as needed. We have a 24” x 48” closet with cat door, and 3-4 overlapping XL pads do the trick. The additional trial and error for us has been that our cats have claws, and cats naturally want to bury and cover any mess. Even our other male cats do not like if there is a soiled pad, and they will try to pull it up to cover it. Needless to say, we’ve tried many various sizes, brands, and types to find the best to keep our cats from lifting and shredding, and to still contain the mess. Most are extremely flimsy, layers coming apart when you even try to open them up, and make a bigger mess than nothing at all.BY FAR, this is our favorite. The grip material lends a bit of weight to the pad, and the densely quilted texture keeps it thin and tough. I’ve had yet to have them tear through any. It’s super effective with absorbency, as it doesn’t allow for much spread of liquid either. It also does a fairly decent job of containing loose litter from being tracked, which has been an issue since we can’t have any other mats which our old lady may pee on.Overall, we’ll keep buying this kind, probably longer after we “need” to.

Great CAT Pads Too!
I have a DIVA cat who won’t pee in her box. However, she will pee on pee pads! Her favorite are Outz. They absorb the horrific smell of cat urine and the odor control is amazing. If she goes in the middle of the night, I no longer need to get up to change her pads to get the smell out of the house in order to sleep. Thank you Outz!!!

Puppy pad durability
I really love the absorbency of these pads. They are definitely leak proof. My only thing I didn’t like was I did not pay attention to the measurements and they are on the small side so I have to double up therefore making them a little expensive to use, but I do have larger dogs.

Love the "non-slip backing, but....
These are good for absorbance, but TERRIBLE for border control! My Cookie (half Jack Russell and half Chihuahua) doesn't like standing on them (she doesn't like standing on ANY I've tried), but I work long hours and she's 14 years old, so I leave them down for her when I'm at work. She's VERY good about using them. What I really like about these is the non-slip backing, so when she kicks up after she has gone potty, they don't bunch up. But because she "potty" close to the edge, it runs over. I've used others that had MUCH better border control, but they bunched up when she "kicked".FAIR WARNING... Don't accidentally step on a "used" pad.. These actually turn the liquid into a gel, which is great! Until you accidentally step on a used one.... The non-slip backing stays in place, but the gel will put you down on your @$$!! Trust me, I learned the "hard way" LOL

Dont let the thin fool you, these are amazing
I have a 30 lb frenchie/pit and this girl has a bladder! Shes puppy pad trained like a cat that uses a litter box. I have an area for her where I lay 4 pads. When I first ordered these I did because the reviews were high, when I received them and saw how thin they were I thought "oh nooo I must return, these wont work, theyre so thin" boy was I surprised! I ended up using them just to "try" I am SO GLAD I TRIED THEM! they are the BEST I've tried. My dog is an adult and these pads are amazing! There was zero leakage, they absorb VERY well. Im re ording! Trust me, do not let the thin fool you. These are a god send

Makes life so much easier!
No, these pads are not perfect: if you pet pees on the edge it's going on your floor, if you don't change it often enough it's going to leak, and there's no glue on the backing. That having been said, my two small dogs, 7 & 9 pounds, were forever sliding all the other brands around and going where the pads used to be. With this pad the problem is gone! They do stay in place much better and they are much less likely to leak. Also, they aren't perfumed, which I appreciate, but I don't get any odors from them. Can't attest to how they would work with large dogs, but they do live up to the advertising with small ones.

Doesn't "grip" but otherwise great
Our dog was in his last final days before crossing the rainbow bridge and was having a hard time controlling his bladder. He's a big dog so the little puppy pads were just not enough. This one nearly filled his carrier and it did a great job. Sadly, we were only able to use a few before he passed away but I'm sure the humane society will appreciate the majority of the pack that's left. It's a quality product.
