Some pieces were missing or maybe I lost them throughout the process of building it but still cute and nice

What a fun and challenging build! This is my first non-LEGO brand purchase in the standard sized bricks. But I will definitely try more! Great value and the bricks feel similar to LEGO quality. Great value for the number of pieces.

This was a great purchase! My 9 year old had fun building it. The instructions were similar to Lego, no missing pieces, and a great value. Definitely recommend!

Once built, the lighthouse looks beautiful with a lot of details. The building instructions are a little vague and you have to look carefully at the pictures to figure out where every block goes. We ran into problems early when some pieces would just not fit together. The piece would fit perfectly on one end but when pressed down at the other end it popped back up on the other side. When finally forced down the dots on top of the piece would not line up with the surrounding pieces already in place. In the end it all worked out somehow.We also could not figure out how to make the light work first. You have to twist the black roof part of the tower to the left and it turns on and stays on until you twist it back and it turns off. Once you know and then look back at the instructions again it all makes sense.

Looks and feels just like real Legos just without the logo.Had a wonderful time building this, when the structures start to come together you get that "wow!" moment over and over.Magical little set, perfect for any potterhead. Has everything you could want, the Great Hall, astronomy tower, east hall, Hungarian Horntail, womping willow, flying car, dementors, and a secret basilisk. Even the little boathouse. Had some spare pieces leftover and dressed it up a little here and there. (First photo compared to second photo)

First the pros.The design is fun and you get a gazillion pieces for a really great price. The pieces are a good quality and are easily interchangeable with LEGO. The book part of this kit was easy to put together and is fairly sturdy.Now the cons.The tree part is beyond frustrating to put together. As you put attach one side of “bark” another falls off. With eight such sides, this constantly happens. Then comes adding the treehouse and more parts collapse. I finally rubber banded the tree together and was able to get the tree house on. However, adding the leaves knocked other pieces off. I threw in the towel and just jammed it on a shelf to gather dust lonely and unfinished.Overall I would not recommend this kit. I am going to try another of this company’s kits , but not any with a tree! The castle looks promising.

Grandson picked this out himself
