At first I thought the noise cancelling wasn't working at all. I tried them with some background talking and it barely made any difference turning it on/off. But when I tried near a loud fan, turning the active noise cancelling on (even with no music playing) cut the white noise out completely!I also enjoy the ViviTouch 4D, it's not for all genres, but it rumbles and adds a fun touch to music. You can turn it off, or even adjust the intensity of the rumble.The carrying case is beautiful and has a little pouch to store the cables.Having a volume control on the cable is perfect for splitting sound between multiple users. My setup has a single ipod playing music to 2 devices. The on cable volume control means the ipod volume can be locked at it's highest setting and each headphone can adjust the sound separately.The headset is a bit small for me, so it feels tight. I'm 5 foot 12 inches (for reference).With Active Noise cancelling off, the sound is not good. Makes me worried that once the battery runs out (or worse when it won't recharge anymore) I'll have a dead headset.Batteries are not replaceable. Eventually when recharging doesn't work as well, you'll have a pretty dumb headset...Overall:For the cost, these are good noise cancelling headphones (although I've nothing to compare with). Once the noise cancellation feature dies (see my battery concerns) these will be mediocre headphones. These are good headphones at a reasonable price. They help block out the background noise in my office cube environment.. Well, these aren't so good after all. 3 months later the padding is ripping out of the ear phone.

After 15-20 minutes, my ears hurt! My wife says the same thing. We would like to return them, but see no way how. Very disappointing.Is there a way of returning these? We buy a lot of products from Amazon. This was the worst.Thank you for anything you can do to help us.David [email protected]

They are pretty comfortable headphones and the noise cancelling works well for my specific needs.

Fabulous stylish and effective. Love the converters for airplanes so you don’t have to use those ghastly airplane headphones.They fit well and ooze quality. The only downside is they are a little heavy. They do make you feel closeted from the rest of the world if you need that feeling.

Great product. Bought for my son and he absolutely loves them. Fantastic sound quality and the noise cancelling works really well.

Hormis le volume du casque il est très bien pour s'isoler du bruit, surtout dans les avions. Il a même une prise spécifique pour se connecter aux prises d'écouteur des avions.
