Not quite what I was expecting
Let me be the first to say that I am not one to write a poor review and I wouldn't say this is a poor product but I do think people should know what they are getting. Customer service and the nutritionist are very very nice and responsive despite being in the path of a hurricane. We found the results to be very very broad. For example, the results said my child was intolerant to bread. The company does not test for certain ingredients in the bread so the intolerance source is still unknown. Could be flour or yeast or gluten etc. There were other similar results i.e. Butter, noodles. In the end we knew she had intolerances already. We should have just taken the blood test for more specific results but we were trying to avoid pain. Again great customer service just was hoping for more defined results.

we researched the literature on this type of testing and found that it was dubious at best. I cannot recommend this test
After we received the results, which were quite alarming since our child is asymptotic for food allergies, we researched the literature on this type of testing and found that it was dubious at best. I cannot recommend this test. We’ll consult a doctor the future for our allergy needs.

I am suing this company big time after this test ...
I am suing this company big time after this test showed NO intolerance for seafood and my grandma had a fatal anaphylactic reaction. SHE DID NOT MAKE IT. That's right you heard it -FATAL. THIS TEST SAID IT WOULD BE OKAY. IT WAS NOT OKAY.

Reccommended
I bought this test online from them and loved it. I'm about to buy another for my nephew. This test was quite comprehensive for food allergies. My daughter had chronic eczema and once I removed grains and spinach from her diet, her symptoms cleared up quickly. Seller was responsive and the nutritionist on staff was extremely nice!

NOT A LEGITIMATE WAY OF TESTING
Please, do yourself a favor, and do not buy this test. Hair analysis testing is not a scientifically accepted method for detecting allergies. Tests like these are not only a scam and a waste of money, they also force people to adopt ridiculous diets that might leave them to suffer nutritionally. The hair is in no way involved in the allergy response. The ONLY proven way to detect allergies is with skin prick testing and by analyzing the blood for IGe antibodies. This quackery should be banned! If you believe you or your pet are allergic to foods or environmentl factors, please visit a doctor to discuss your options.
