This mat is great! It’s pretty, soft, functional, and safe from all the bad chemicals. Baby girl loves it and is no longer numbing her head on hard floor when she’s rolling over! Glad I paid a bit more for a higher quality and chemical free mat.

I absolutely love this play mat! For my first child I purchased one of those foam ABC play mats and this is by far a better product. It is much softer providing more cushion, easier to clean and you don't have to worry about so many pieces. My baby quickly discovered that taking the foam pieces apart was much more fun than rolling around so I found myself constantly putting the puzzle pieces back together. Also, it would become dusty under the foam tiles and we would find ourselves slipping and sliding when we stepped on it. This pay mat surface is non-skid so we have not experienced any near death moments. I bought this play mat when my 5 month old was showing signs of wanting to roll over but with hard, cold tile in my house we had limited play space. The second I put her on this mat she rolled over! And when she gets fussy I'll let her play on her mat and she is content, rolling around playing with toys.PROS:*Memory foam cushion is very soft. My 5 month old rolls back and forth from belly to back with no complaints or any sign of injury.*Large play space, although she still finds her way off the mat. But I think there is no play space large enough to contain a busy baby.*VERY easy to clean. Wipes up easily with a wet rag. Don't have to worry about spit up stains.*So far very durable. We've played on it for a month and still holding up.*Double Sided! When my baby gets to comfortable with one side, we flip it and it's a whole new world to explore.CONS:*NONE! Okay, maybe the price. It's more expensive than the foam ABC mats but I find this product worth EVERY penny!*A slight odor when first coming out of the box but once it was aired out for a couple of days, there was no noticeable odor. A very minor CON in my book.This is one of my most favorite purchases I've made for my children!

The quality of this mat is great. I bought to make a play area. It has plenty of cushioning/protection for my 1 year old learning how to walk and playing on a cold hard tile floor. It also makes sitting with her much more comfortable. There are a few negative reviews that were written saying that the mat compresses/leaves temporary indentation marks when an adult sits/stands on it. This is true but it bounces back when you move off of it. It is also the whole point of having a soft mat; it absorbs impacts and pressure by compressing to dampen the exerted force on it. A harder mat that doesn't compress would hurt to fall on. It is firm and stable enough for my baby to practice walking on it.Pros:- soft and thick, great for absorbing impacts/falls but firm enough for walking on- good insulator from our cold tile floor- no smell after airing out for a few hours- no obnoxious design/colors; we received a lot of compliments from other parents on how good it actually looks.- easy to wipe off spills and for cleaning in generalCons:- none so far.I've had it for about 2 months and can't comment on durability just yet (so far so good).I would definitely recommend this play mat for anyone who is looking for a safe clean surface for their baby to play on. I wish I bought this sooner.UPDATE: Durability is excellent.I've had 2 of these mats for about 3 years now. I they are used daily and holding up Great with daily used of kids/adukts playing with toys on them, and running, and jumping. They work pretty good as exercise mats at home too. They are we clean them about once a week with a all natural cleaner and rag. The colors haven't faded and no rips or punctures in the material. It can be a challenge to remove some marker or pen scribbles. If you fold it when earning the floor beneath the mat, you will the mat may temporarily crease but it goes a way after a while.One other thing I noticed was that there is a little lip around the mat that causes it not to sit completely flush to the ground depending on what side you are using.
