Definitely a good game and does what it does really well. Just a little bit too luck dependent for 5 stars.

I am in total awe of this game. It is compact, quick, fun and engaging all at once. Does not require a ton of room or time to play. For being so simple, only 18 total play cards, the randomness and abilities of the cards makes this a very fun game. During all of my wars there have been at least 1 battle where I got stuck in analysis paralysis completely overthinking my strategy. Only to have the other player absolutely destroy my plans with a single card. The back and forth tug o' war for domination is a blast! The art is beautiful and the gameplay make this worth every penny. Great fast filler or time killer card game!

For just 18 cards this game has so much depth to it and is a real brain burner. One of the best 2 player games I own and I really like the Critters skin over the original WW2 version. Hope to see a lot of expansions to this world.

Purchased as a gift for a friend so haven't had a chance to play myself yet. From what I hear it's a fun game originally and this is a thematic twist that does enhance the experience. Delivery was a bit wonky as it was left outside the wrong numbers house even though it said it was delivered. But once that confusion was sorted, all was good. Recipient was happy with it.
