Just what I needed to access some hard to reach bolts.

Unbelievable. This is a little dream machine. Lots of fun Get the long one. The short model of this ratchet is not good for me because I like to have my hands farther away from the work being performed. I have the 2ah. Battery. Get something bigger than 2ah. Not too, big because the tool needs to fit into tight areas. Get the Dewalt. Not that cheap one they have listed.

This thing is pretty damn strong

First thing I did with this tool upon delivery was replacing my egr valve and put this to the test I also got the 12v 3.0 ah battery which should really come with a battery for this price but it's whatever. It struggled a bit with the bolts, and I ended up cracking them with this by hand. Was expecting a bit more with the advertised 60 ft lbs but aye the reach is arguably best in market and it's brushless as well which is all why I got it. It's a little longer than Milwaukee and ac delcos so it can reach the spots the other guys can't and supposedly has 20 more ft lbs of torque than competitors. Just not the Nut busting kind.

Completely useless Sent the first one back.. Had dead spots in it and would arop turning... Zero torque. I could out a 19mm deep well socket on it and arop it with my hand .Got the second one in. About t send it back. Its worse than the first one. I am using brand new DeWalt 5ah batteries... I even sent batteries back and got more thinking maybe it was the batteries.... I really wanted this to work being the extended one. Guess its going back

I own the default XR version that takes a ⅜ or ½ drive head. While this ratchet doesn't have nearly as much torque I don't care. I'm old school and when air ratchets were a thing when I worked on cars professionally I'd always break the bolts free by hand anyways, so torque isn't an issue for me. I like the extended head and the skin profile. This will work much better than my XR ratchet for tight spaces and under the hood! Operates as intended and haven't had any issues, highly recommend!

This little 3/8" extended-reach 12V ratchet is an absolute beast in tight spots. 70 ft-lbs, brushless, LED ring light, and that extra-long neck gets where nothing else can (think spark plugs on transverse V6s, suspension work, or deep engine bay bolts). Variable trigger + glass-nylon housing makes it feel premium, not toy-like. Battery lasts forever on the 3Ah or 5Ah packs; I did a full brake job + exhaust hangers on one charge. Yes, it’s tool-only and 12V-only (no 20V swap), but that keeps it light (barely over 2 lbs) and perfectly balanced. If you already run DEWALT 12V, buy this yesterday. Instantly became my most-used ratchet; the 20V versions now collect dust. 100% worth it.

The tool is Professional quality, with solid feel grip and variable trigger as well as compact but still stout head. The reach is incredible-perfect for the impossible to reach jobs. Not an impact or torque monster but still puts my Milwalkee regular ratchet to shame... its done well for me too. I'm happy to have purchased this one. 12 v batteries are light and maneuverable. Totally a game changer.

Nice compact size, wasn't aware that dewalt is still making 12V tools, specifically new model 12V tools. Seems to work as intended, will update if required.
