Very strong lock and function is excellent I recommend for solid timber doors.

Easy to fit if you have the right tools. 5 star if included instructions such as drill bit sizes needed.

Got 2 of these to add more security to internal door. So if burglars got in back door they wouldn't be able to get past kitchen. Nice heavy bolt. Look good. My husband found them easy enough to install. Give peace of mind knowing they can't be opened from other side. Value for money unprecedented

Perfect fit

It's not cheap and it's not all brass. The screws, the bolt face and the strike plate are brassed steel and will look like it after a while. The pinion is crudely cast but that won't be seen and will probably work smooth. I just hate tatty brassed screws, the cost to the manufacturer would be pennies. The visible brass components are good and highly polished.

Worth paying a bit more for these bolts. They are easy to fit and feel secure and strong compared to the first ones I bought
