Best sata SSD for ₹2049/-, but there are some things you must know..
Speed: The speed is as expected and can be used as an external SSD with an enclosure. These are the peak read and write speeds, but in practical usage, speeds rarely match these numbers. During data transfer, I achieved around 470 MB/s write and 510 MB/s read speeds, which is very good. Remember, sata ssds don't go above these speeds, the SATA interface itself is limited in its data transfer capabilities.I purchased this SSD for additional storage for my PC, as I don’t have an extra M.2 slot. It can be used for gaming and performs well, though it’s slightly slower than an NVMe SSD. However, the difference is hardly noticeable during regular use or gaming. If you’re building a new PC, opting for an M.2 NVMe SSD would be better. While slightly more expensive, it’s worth the extra cost for the added performance. For older systems, though, this SSD is a great choice for upgrading storage and improving performance.Compatibility: This SSD is widely compatible with all systems and laptops. Simply connect the cables, and it’s ready to use. If it doesn’t appear in File Explorer, don't worry. Just go to Disk Management, create a new volume from the unallocated space, and format it.Durability: With a 120TBW rating, the SSD can write up to 120 terabytes of data. Durability depends on usage. Heavy write operations- like exporting a large video- will degrade it faster, while light use—like storing a few games—primarily involves read operations, causing minimal wear and extending its lifespan.Price: I managed to get this SSD for ₹2,049 during a sale with a ₹250 coupon, which I consider a lucky deal. If you find it priced around ₹2,199, it's still worth considering. However, if the price is higher, I recommend waiting for discounts, as the price often drops.

Solid Performance and Easy Installation
Installed this Crucial SSD in my older laptop (from 2012) and it worked perfectly right out of the box. The performance boost is immediately noticeable — much faster boot times and smoother overall operation as opposed to a HDD that my laptop originally came with. What really stands out is the Crucial Storage Executive software. It's fairly straightforward to use and lets you monitor the drive's health, enable Momentum Cache, and even set up over-provisioning — all of which help you get the most out of the SSD. Not to mention that Crucial is a reliable company that is well established in this ecosystem.Highly recommended if you're upgrading an older system or just want reliable performance with helpful tools to back it up.

Great Budget Boot & Storage Drive — But Not For Heavy Use
Comfort:• 👍 Pros:• Fast boot‑up and general responsiveness—superior to any HDD for daily tasks and light apps.• Sequential speeds around 550 MB/s read and 500 MB/s write—comparable to mid‑range SATA drives .• Affordable at ~₹3,300–4,200 locally, offering solid value per GB ().•👎 Cons:• DRAM‑less architecture means slower 4K random and sustained writes—can dip below HDD speeds during heavy transfers .• Overheats under continuous write load—controller throttles down to ~60 °C, slashing write speeds .• Minimal endurance—rated at ~120 TBW, lower than MX500 or competing drives .• Plastic casing is less durable than metal alternatives.

Best to upgrade from hdd to ssd
Great ssd . Boot and app opening speed has been increased. Easy to install and performance is great under this budget. Packaging was very poor (not even bubbled or sent in proper packaging)
